Pa Torvet is an absolutely amazing inn, as Aeroskobing and Aero Island are amazing places. Gunnar, the owner, instantly feels like an old friend. He and his team do a great job in making guests feel welcome and endeavor to meet every need and request. The hotel is impeccably clean (we had unit 10) and orderly. In renovating during their ownership, Gunnar and his wife Lill, did a marvelous job in renovation and redecorating to achieve a soothing, warm atmosphere that greatly contributes to the relaxed atmosphere. We recommend Pa Torvet for a personal vacation or for hosting an event in that while my wife were there for holiday, the inn hosting a company event that included housing of a number of the members, as well as, a dinner and bar time for about 90. They pulled it off while maintaining a high level of personal service to us and other individual guests.||The inn is well located relative to the shops, restaurants, harbor and activity rental places of Aeroskobing. Several other reviews mentioned the church chimes as an irritant. Yes, the chimes rang, but we found them to be part of the small village charm. We enjoyed walking the town and trails radiating out from it. We also rented bikes and saw much of the rest of the island with its incredible beauty. We enjoyed fabulous meals at several local restaurants. ||Overall, our visit to Aero was mesmerizing as we felt we were in another world in which harmony and friendly relations were paramount. The Pa Torvet was a significant factor in that idyllic relationship. We have traveled extensively and could not recommend the Pa Torvet enough if you're looking for a tranquil,...
Read moreThis beautiful old building is situated on a small square in the charming village of Aeroskobing on Aero Island. So charmingly decorated, with little paintings, vases of flowers, old maps and figurines in corners and on the walls. There are rooms in the original building, and an annex out back. Lovely little courtyard with potted plants and bistro tables. There are tables in the square in front where you can enjoy drinks. Our room was wonderful, with a full living room that overlooked the square, dining room, full kitchen, large entry hall and one bedroom. The king-size bed was large and very comfortable. There was a beautiful old desk in the dining room, which also had a large window that opened. The living room had beautiful Scandi furniture and two huge windows over the square. There was an antique hutch full of glassware for any type of beverage. Breakfast was in the bar/dining room and was excellent, with good brewed coffee, enormous buns, pastries, fresh fruit, cold cuts and cheeses, yogurt. We enjoyed dinner one night - a savory, drippy hamburger and white asparagus with tender little red shrimp. Every thing...
Read moreWe were delighted with our choice of hotel in this pretty village of Aeroskobing. The hotel is conveniently located in the main square near the church and close to all the quaint old streets and only a few minutes walk from the harbour area. Parking is in a nearby carpark, but you can drive up close to unload/load your luggage. Our accommodation was a lovely apartment with living area, bedroom and bathroom off a courtyard to the rear of the hotel with an outdoors table and chairs to relax. The restaurant (called cafe)/bar area is nicely furnished and delivers first class food. We enjoyed the fish cakes and prawn salad on rye bread followed by rhubarb trifle for dinner, and breakfast was equally as good. The manager and staff are very friendly and helpful. We couldn’t fault this quality hotel and it was a nice way to finish our...
