Lønstrup Camping Møllebakken — Hotel in Hjørring Municipality

We found a place to stay the night after the first part of our trip to Norway. After 1030km from Holland to Hjoerring all we needed was a bed and a breakfast. We had booked this place through an internet bookingsite. When we arrived not all correspondence concerning the time of arrival and the number of persons had come through. Nonetheless we were given a hytte, tiny but cosy. No and water though (!) and no toilet in the hytte (which we were informed about beforehand). The hosts were very friendly. On our hometrip two weeks later, we were three persons, we were given a hytte somewhat bigger, with running water. The fridge smelled badly but didn't work, the cutlery drawer was a mess, but for one night it was ollright. And again, the host was pleasant, invited us for a mushroom meal. Unpleasant surprise for me was a surplus on the price because we payed with a bankcard. Only 2,5%, but still, I find this awkward. The camping site is only 24 km from Hirtshalsharbour. Some ferries sail off at 9:00, check in at 8:00, so it's good to have a place to sleep so close by. In the morning we had...

This camping side offers everything you need for a very reasonable price! It has all the important facilities - kitchen (free use of fridge, stoves, sinks), bathroom (free showers), large living room area, washing and drying machine (to pay) and a little shop at the reception. The owner is incredibly nice and has a lot of great advices! Free wifi is included. During high season you can even order some bread/pastries that get delivered to the camping side daily. The camping side is just a 5-10min walk away from the beach, shop, restaurants. If you are continuing your way to Norway, this camping side is just 25min away from Hirstals! DEFINITELY...

We stayed here two nights in our autocaravan and the location to town, as well as the parking sizes were first rate. Showers and bathroom/kitchen facilities all very clean and homey. What was actually outstanding was the service from the owner who was the nicest, friendliest gentleman. He was always available and easy to find for any questions we had.
