Hotel Kirstine — Hotel in Naestved Municipality

All in all we had a very nice stay here. We used a voucher from Small Danish Hotels to book our stay, and there were absolutely no problems using this voucher. For our stay, the only room type available was the small double, which means the room is a bit smaller and the bed is 140x200 instead of 160x200, so I thought it would make much of a difference for us. When we arrived the staff was friendly and helpful and we got to our room on the 3rd floor, which was nice and clean.

We had a quiet time in the lounge during the evening. It was these big old leather seats and big old wooden book shelves as decorations, as well as tons of antlers on the walls. Not a fan.

At bedtime we realised the walls were quite thin at we could easily here the people in the next room talking - talking - not shouting or talking loud.

Breakfast was good, there is a lot to choose from. The usual continental breakfast as well as yoghurt and cereal. They also offered gluten-free bread, but not sure if this was only as I had asked about this before our stay.

I have stayed here for five nights and I cannot say else that I really loved the hotel, it's amenities and especially the room. I stayed in a two person room in the outbuilding. The room had a very comfortable Hästens boxspring bed with multiple pillows. The floor heating in the bathroom is really nice. The room was cozy and clean and a minibar was present.

The hotel itself has a really good restaurant with a somewhat limited menu, but what's on it is exceptionally good. Make sure to put a reservation in for the restaurant, the chance that it is fully booked when you don't reserve your table is high. The breakfast offers a good choice of different bread, cuts of meat, cheeses, scrambled eggs, mini omelets, different sausages and fruits. I loved the warm bread buns, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

The hotel is nicely located in the city center of Næstved and only a very short walk to the shops and restaurants.

Needed a place just for the night, on a road trip.||||Easy to find, and parking just in front of the Hotel. Extremely friendly check-in, with the key ready in an envelope with my name on it. Didn’t really get any information about the hotel, accept for directions to a takeaway restaurant. The room was located in a separate building in the back of the main building which include reception, restaurant and bars. Obviously closed due to the Corona virus epidemic.||||The room is extremely nice, with soul and all decor is historic / romantic. The bed is very comfortable. It’s a Hästens.. doesn’t come any better.||||The room includes coffee facilities, strong free WiFi, minibar, seating area, desk and great bathroom.
