Punta Cana Seven Beaches — Hotel in Higüey

If I could give this 0 Stars I would, Take this review very serious I have stayed in over 4000 Hotels in my life.||First and foremost just DO NOT STAY HERE even if it is $50 A WEEK! I promise you anywhere is better than here. If you want to take some roaches home and start a path down the road where it will cost you or your apartment complex and neighbors hundreds of thousands to get rid of these pests, or if you already have them and you are bringing them with you than so be it, but if you are a person who cares about your hygiene, keeps a clean house and does not like bugs this is NOT the place for you.||IF you want to have a nice evening inside and watch some TV after cooking a nice meal and be in a cool environment DO NOT BOOK HERE! There is no Air conditioning in the living room and the TV is like a small monitor attached to the wall that can not be moved.||IF you want to have a comfortable pillow, DO NOT BOOK HERE! The pillows are the thinnest I have ever seen.|If you want a clean comfortable bed, DO NOT BOOK HERE! The bed had stains of all sorts and lots of questionable black specks including baby roaches, these were dead I think, I didn't stick around to see.||IF you want to have a closet to hang your cloths and a mirror to check your self out in, you guessed it, DO NOT STAY HERE!! My closet had a broken mirror that was duct taped back together and the closet door wouldn't even open.||Finally if you want a reception with real security that will be available if you need anything or have a problem, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Not 1, 2, or 3 times did I and or booking.com try to contact this property to request my refund with no response but 4 times and still no reply. Also when I arrived the reception was not there and I used google translate to communicate with this guy who had no name tag or anything indicating that he worked there indicating he was security. He told me he needed payment and would need to keep my passport until payment was made but the booking was supposed to be prepaid. This was a complete crap show.||They took payment is Euros for whatever reason. If you want to stay at somewhere modern, clean and comfortable, DO NOT STAY HERE!! Even if it free!!! Unless your homeless then at least it's a home.||I have stayed in over 4000 hotels over the course of my life and this would rank top 10 worst if that gives you any idea.||If this review helped you at all please mark as helpful and follow me for more reviews...

Rachel and Wesley were very pleasant and helpful and were very kind to try to speak english. I also typed into Google Translate on my phone so they could read Spanish. The apartment we were given was next to the noisy reception office...many loud voices, cleaning staff talking loudly outside our door, phones ringing, etc. It was a 2 bdrm first floor apartment that had no locks on 2 of the kitchen windows, very few dishes, older tv but that was fine as it had many english stations, firm beds which was fine and air con in both bedrooms...above the bed :(||Feeling a bit scared, we asked for a different room the next morning and were given the apartment directly above the first one. lol. Similar noise level but that was ok...there were at least locks on all windows here. No english on any channels, my mattress was completely shot on the one side, lots more dishes which was great. ||Pool was cloudy...children were allowed to spit (and who knows what else) and have huge horseplay so we only went in a little on our first day. Very few lounge chairs but we never had a problem getting a couple. Dangerous tiles that were not secure around the edge of the pool. ||Excellent email communication with the resort when we reserved a taxi (Sandoval) through this hotel. The driver was there when we arrived and was prompt on our departure. He runs on "Dominican time" when picking you up the the beach, though. One of the times he was late he said he was at the airport picking someone up and yet his daughter was in the front seat. Hotel from Hell|No matter what bad reviews you read, I can guarantee is worse than you can imagine.|First of all, misleading photos, showing that is next to the beach - IS NOT.|When we arrived at the hotel first thing the receptionist did, was to ask for $25 cleaning fee. Very bland and rude and not willing to help. I told them I wasn’t advised about the cleaning fee and she said that is standard and we need to pay it otherwise they would have to refuse our stay to the accommodation.|We went into the room and the state of it was horrendous. A guy was trying to make the ac work (only in the bedroom) for around 30 minutes after a long flight. The room was absolutely FILTHY. There were rubbish on the floor and in the shower there were red stains which I don’t want to imagine what they were.|The pillow sofas were all stained and so dirty and the kitchen you could not cook if you wanted to due to the filth.|Not to mention the toilet, that it wasn’t working and you couldn’t flash it.|There was even a dead mouse outside the garden.|Honestly, I don’t want to go on and on but it was the worst stay ever and we had to leave the next morning.
