I’m going to write this review in English and then in Spanish because I want everyone to know how awesome this place is! If you’re into an authentic experience then please stay here. The staff was so nice and treated us like we were family the whole time. The location was in the middle of a town and not too many tourists. Yes people... it’s DR ... and there are Dominicans! If you’re looking to have an experience with all Americans, Europeans and foreigners and get charged up the wazoo then the resort is about a mile down the road. This hotel offered separate apartments which were spotless and cleaned daily. Each apartment was equipo with everything you could need including a kitchenette and patio area. The neighborhood was very safe and the people of las terrenas were helpful and super friendly... I didn’t feel like I was ever being ripped off.
Read moreWe booked a room from the 2nd to 13th of January. As soon as we arrived we noticed that the location is not very safety. From outside the place looks like a private house, it was quite difficult to find it. ||||When we got inside, the parking wasn't prepare for cars. We found a big ramp that scratched the car. ||||The worse part was inside the apartment, pictures are amazing in Booking and TripAdvisor, but they are completely different from reality. The room is in a very bad conditions as you can see on pictures and the smelling is unbearable / unhealthy if you are an allergic person. ||||It was very disappointing experience. The owner lives in Italy and the person in charge of this place was very rude and aggressive. She didn't accept that the pictures and descriptions are completely false. They keep us the 30% of our money. We definitely will not...
Read moreIf you're just traveling through Las Terrenas then this is a nice place to stay but I wouldn't advise it for a stay much longer than that. The rooms are good and clean, ours even had a kitchen though we didn't make use of it. However the hotel is a little difficult to find in Las Terrenas and not close to beach or any "tourist" attraction, its in a side street downtown located in an residential area. If you're by car, there is only one spot to park inside the hotel compound, so we found ourselves parking our car on the side of the street. and on a final note, there were was no one that spoke Spanish during our stay and since none of us spoke more than a couple words Spanish it was very difficult to communicate with the staff that was available and we had a hard time finding them sometimes because there is no...
