Hotel Yormari — Hotel in Manta

The Yormar was a weird experience.||||First of all, the address isn't correct. It's on Av. 13 not 14. ||||Then, while my wife was on the phone trying to figure out how to get there, the person on the other end of the line hung up on her three times! ||||We finally found the place and while I was trying to register and check in, some other travelers walked in and the guy working the desk started checking them in!||||Okay, I'm patient to a point but we were hungry, tired and needed to wash up so we could go get something to eat. I'm thinking the guy probably didn't like me on sight so I didn't make it any worse by insisting that we be registered ahead of the latecomers so we could get to our rooms.||||The rest of the staff were very helpful. They helped us get the car into the garage and carried our bags up to our rooms. But the guy working at the desk needs to find another line of work.||||Our sleep wasn't the best because there was a dog somewhere in the building that was taking advantage of the quiet night to practice its barking.||||In the morning the hot water wasn't working so my wife called the desk. She was told someone would be right up to turn it on. That didn't happen so we took cold showers and got the hell out of there.||||The Yormar isn't a bad building and the breakfast was okay. It's overpriced for what I've seen during my travels in Ecuador and I won't stay there again. But if they work at it, it wouldn't take much for them to make the Yormar a pleasant...

9/11/24 Good staff, clean and cozy place. 2 blocks from Murcielago Beach and 4 blocks to main Ave Flavio. The only bad experience based on a family emergency, I noticed that they attempted to take advantage of my situation and tried to overcharge me to accommodate family members, but that's the case in most Countries. Beware of using the pool on the rooftop " Curious neighbors across the street" constantly watching you. Location gets pretty lonely at night. Use precautions. Other than that, this place is...

Nos alojamos junto a mi esposa y unos amigos durante siete días por un Congreso. La verdad me pareció un lugar excelente 100 % recomendado por las siguientes razones.|1. Personal muy atento, amable y servicial.|2. Habitaciones cómodas funcionales limpias y económicas. Por ejemplo nuestra habitación contaba con una salita , micro, estantes para guardar snacks, nevera donde además puedes comprar aguas chocolates a un precio muy aceptable |3. Se encuentra ubicado cerca a la playa y a la zona rosa en un sitio muy seguro. Además es fácil movilizarse al aeropuerto al centro o a las terminales de los buses.|4. Tiene un lugar muy acogedor Para tomar te, café usar hamacas leer.|5. El desayuno es muy bueno.|5. Excelente relación calidad precio.||Hay un par de cosas que se podría mejorar.|1.
