Playa Suites Manta — Hotel in Manta

We were suppose to arrive at 5 am and she answer the phone at 8 am...finally at 9:30 am she appears WITHOUT any apologize.|||| The room was NOT what we ask (of course was not even prepare): the kitchen was in the balcony(!!), the air and the microwave didn't work, and the machine for sandwiches was dirty. The temperature inside the room was really HOT because the roof had no insulation.||||Of course, when we cancel the reservation she didn't return the money wich is contrary to the booking policy. (that's what you call thieves, don't you?) Were three Days of reservation!||||Worst experience in Ecuador. Don't give your money...

I booked this place at 1PM of the day of arrival. At 3PM I told the host that I will arrive in a couple of hours. At 7PM when I arrived the room still wasn't ready. The host didn't offer me anything while waiting (like just some tea or coffee would be common courtesy). After more than an hour the room was finally ready. The room had AC but also a hole in the wall (a window frame without the window glass that normally would cover a window) so all the cold air left the room... After I left this review on booking.com and the host told the site I never stayed there so that the review wouldn't go on the site... will never...

We went there in november 2021. It was the worst experience we ever had. Julia is disonest. The place was so dirty. She even tried to make a profit out of the situation where the fridge was malfunctionning trough airbnb. There are ants in the room. Dont go there it will releive you of so much stress and the worst experience...
