Hotel Mar Azul Galapagos — Hotel in Parroquia Puerto Baquerizo Moreno

I really liked this hotel on San Cristobal. The room was cleaned daily and had air conditioning. The shower was really good in our room. We did have lots of little insects roaming around our room but we didn't mind, we embraced the nature! It was always peaceful and you always had access to Bananas and bottled water. There was a table tennis table in the dining area which kept us entertained for a few hours. The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were really nice. For breakfast it would be a bowl of fresh fruit to start, then their take on a "full English" - it would be slices of cold meat and scrambled or fried egg. They'd also give you some toast, jam and tea/coffee. The hotel was in a perfect location, it would a 35 minute walk to La Loberia Beach which was great for snorkelling and about a 10 minute walk to the sea front. The Hotel Mar Azul is well located between the airport and town (both within walking distance). The hotel is comfortable and offers exceptional value. Stayed one night, very comfortable and clean. nice room with 2 double beds, closets and plenty of towels. Breakfast was above average - plenty of scrambled eggs, potato cake, toast w/ jam, bowl of mixed fruit & bananas, orange juice and delicious coffee in a cute garden room.
