I have passed through coca a few times on my way to deeper in teh amazon and it's the only place I would stay, apart from its central location the place has a charm. I have travelled and had to hold meeting and also have travelled with my daughter who is 4 years old and the staff even after the first visit remebered her name and chatted to her. even the housekeeping staff made changing the towles fun for her. the restaurant staff even remeberd that she liked the high chair with Winnie the Pooh on it! the food is good, the restaurant consistent, the garden has free roaming animals and lovely trees. in short, it's great. on a business level I have held meetings there and had to arrange a large lunch which went withouht a hitch. the manager is very approachable and happy to deal with requests, even odd ones! totally recommend...

Everything looked sad and grubby.||On the plus side, the staff were all very nice 👍 ||Coca is experiencing an oil boom. The hotel was full of oil workers when we visited.||Definitely not good value for money.||We were told this is the best hotel in town. I recommend that you skip Coca altogether. You won’t miss much. It is not necessary to stay there before or after an Amazon lodge trip. Work with the lodge to ensure they coordinate...
