Hotel Heliconias — Hotel in Puerto Francisco de Orellana

For two recommendations we stay there but was a really bad choice: the room smells humid, bad TV signal and the wi-fi was a nightmare, almost a trash. The parking zone and the pool was OK but anything else. The jacuzzi area and sauna-turco was closed... I did a complaint in the reception but the owner (a old woman without a smile in the face) told me that these area only is opened in the weekends (???). The free coffee for customers was the worst of hotel... old and bitter, I wasted it in the trash. The breakfast in the morning was OK... but without forks and again the coffee doesn't was a good taste. The environment didn't have an ambiental music and I can hear just the noise of the external streets with too much traffic, the old speaker in the pool didn't work. Bad experience... and the price doesn't is cheap. They have too much to learn in hotel service. Jacqueline, the young girl in the reception was the unique good person, kind and with a nice smile, but...

Clean, spacious, well appointed room in a new hotel so furnishings are fresh and bright. Large, clean swimming pool but appears to be open to the public too with a mass of lockers with keys for outsiders and a spa and sauna filled with people when we were there. Very loud disco music blared from speakers by the pool which could be heard everywhere, every room, for the entire afternoon but finished at around 7 pm. Breakfast was dissappointing..fruit, 2 cereals that were open to the air and so stale and sticky, croissants with jam in their original jam jars, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Pretty basic for Coca's most expensive hotel. Shower was good with lots of hot water...

We booked this hotel for two nights originally. Stayed in the suit. On Sunday everything worked. But monday they shut everything down, pool, sauna, turko. Though the sign said sauna, gym and turko should stay open every day from 17 untill 20. Because of the excursions we paid for two more nights. On the third night around 6:30 we told reception that we would leave tomorrow and asked for refund for one night. At the reception was not usual lady but one of the guards drinking beer. He told us no problem and come tomorrow morning. The guards were drinking and partying all night. In the morning usual lady said that we should have told yesterday and refused to...
