If I could not pick a rating I would as a ‘1’ I feel is generous for this absolutely shocking hotel. We are staying as a group of eight, spanning four rooms, with every member of the group only experience a negative stay.
The service in this hotel is overall slow. For the amount of staff working you almost have to wait half an hour to be served for anything. You wait half an hour for someone to take your order and then another half an hour before your order is brought to you.
The staff are so unhelpful to the point that they do not mention they are in a gated community and let you leave the “hotel” only to be harassed by guards at the gate wanting money and saying your hotel room key is not enough, your hotel should have given you a separate pass. When I asked the front desk they shrugged their shoulders and said “oh yeah there is a pass and it’s 600 Egyptian pounds on top of the fee’s you’ve already paid.” I then double checked with another staff member and he says it’s 600 but it’s a bond fee. Again two people, two different stories from unhelpful staff.
The room stinks and has no windows to open to allow natural air flow.
The room I received has had no hot water since I arrived, every time I mention this to multiple workers I was ignored and have been left to shower in a family members room.
Another room a family member received was vibrating from the pool pump below the building. The buzzing was so intense he could not sleep and when asked for a room change, it became the biggest hassle to the point they wanted to hear and feel the vibration before accomodating the need of a paying customer.
If you are an Egyptian expat travelling on a foreign passport or hold a foreign passport especially as a female they will treat you so bad you’re left feeling frustrated, lost and upset.
You speak to one staff member on the phone and offer to go to the front desk to discuss in person, on arrival to continue the conversation they say “sorry we don’t know what you’re talking about” or the person you spoke with is not there after only a few minutes.
It is the only hotel I’ve been to where if you have friends or family visit they say they must pay to enter even if they’re not using any facilities.
One occasion we asked for two cups of ice and it took them 2 hours to bring it after getting up multiple times to follow up.
The hotel its self is falling apart and if you lean on some balconies you feel the rot in the wood and the unstableness of the balcony.
They have a huge cat infestation with an immeasurable number of cats and their babies roaming comfortably around the premises, even trying to sneak and enter in your rooms to steal food or explore.
Lastly, one of the most critical parts of a hotel stay for any traveller, food options within the hotel. Our arrival day, we opted to eat in the hotel restaurant as everyone was too exhausted to explore the nearby options (which are barely existent). The meals were either very under or over cooked, flavours were awful and some foods were stone cold. For almost everyone, the meals were inedible. We all attended the same restaurant for the buffet breakfast the next morning, with hot foods in bain-maries somehow still cold, pastries stale and a section of the ceiling fell on a member of our groups head whilst eating. After two severely unacceptable meal experiences for all, we now have to look elsewhere every morning for breakfast and satisfying a late night hunger is only a dream here.
All in all I would not recommend this place to anyone ever.

I was feeling overwhelmed with work and decided to take a short break to recharge, hoping this stay would help me relax and get back on track for my patients. Unfortunately, it did the exact opposite—I left feeling even more stressed and disappointed.||||1. Misleading Room Presentation:||The photos on the booking site looked fancy and inviting, but what we received was nothing like that. The room was old, poorly maintained, and far from what was advertised. This felt misleading and set the tone for a very disappointing stay.||||2. Basic Comfort Issues:||||Hot Water Problem: It’s winter, and there was an issue with the hot water, making it incredibly difficult to take a shower in the cold. This is a basic necessity that should be functional without question.||||Room Full of Ants: Despite the housekeeper, Ms. Heba, doing her best, the room was infested with ants, especially coming from the toilet area. When we reported this while checking out, the response was, “We could’ve sprayed if you told us.” This is unacceptable—pest control should be done proactively before guests arrive, not after they’ve had an unpleasant experience, especially since we had a child with us.||||Unwanted Cats on the Terrace: Even though we were on the first floor, there were stray cats roaming the terrace, which was both uncomfortable and unhygienic.||||3. Lack of Privacy & Poor Dining Experience:||||Breakfast Hall: The breakfast hall was small and cramped, not designed to accommodate guests comfortably. We had to share large tables with strangers, which completely ruined any sense of privacy or relaxation during meals.||||Terrible Food Quality: The food was honestly awful—bland, poorly prepared, and far from appetizing. This was a huge letdown, especially when you’re expecting to enjoy your meals on vacation.||||4. Facilities Not Guest-Friendly:||||Heated Pool with No Proper Toilets: While there was a heated pool, the nearby toilets didn’t even have doors. Imagine needing to walk out in freezing weather, still wet from the pool, just to find a toilet—that’s completely impractical.||||Poor Room Insulation: The room door didn’t seal properly, allowing noise from the hallway to come through easily. The balcony door was also faulty—you could literally see the curtains moving from the cold drafts. This, combined with the light blankets provided, made the nights unbearably cold and uncomfortable.||||5. Regret Over the Cost:||What adds to my frustration is that I paid almost 8,500 EGP for just two nights, which I deeply regret. For this amount, I expected at least basic comfort, proper service, and a stress-free experience. Instead, I left feeling more exhausted and frustrated than when I arrived.||||Final Thoughts:||This stay was nothing short of a nightmare. I went there seeking rest and relaxation but ended up more stressed than before. The lack of basic comforts, poor maintenance, terrible food, and overall neglect of guest needs made this a regrettable experience.||||Rating: I would give zero stars if I could.||||I strongly advise against booking this hotel. For anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay, this is not the place.
