San Giovanni Hotel — Hotel in Alexandria

Well, I didn't eat there, but was with a friend trying to get a reservation for his date, and San Giovanni have 2 areas, the first one is the cafe (downstairs) and the second one is the restaurant (upstairs). We didn't know that we can make a reservation for the restaurant, so after making a reservation for the cafe, we found that the restaurant would be much nicer for a date, but we were told that there are no available tables next to the window, after we left we went back to reserve a table in the restaurant even if it's not next to the window. I was not happy with what Haytham said, which was something like (didn't you decide already, you keep coming back and hesitating), as if it's not his job to help us find what makes us the most comfortable. We told him that we're OK with a table away from the window, but he said that no tables available at all (which does not match what he said before, that the tables next to the window are reserved), we told him that we're OK with any table in the restaurant, he kept trying to make us change our minds by telling us that the available tables are not so nice, and that we wouldn't like them! If it wasn't for the deposit that was paid, my friend wouldn't have gone there...

The hotel is extremely beautiful, a lovely cozy place to stay on Stanley bridge in Alexandria corniche where you will see the prettiest and most calming view of the bridge and the sea together, we booked a sea view suite through the hotel staff and they gave us an amazing price , when arrived all staf where very welcoming with a warm smile and escorted us to out suite which was extremely clean well equipped and furnished. They offered us free wifi as well which was great. Room was cleaned well every day and I highly recommend to get breakfast with your reservation for they have a lovely breakfast restaurant with a breathtaking sea view and delicious food, restaurant staff ate so friendly and cooperative. I would like to express my Gratitude to hotel staff for making my stay such a pleasure especially Ms. Marianne from the front desk and Ms. Farha from the housekeeping who went above and beyond to make our stay as perfect.|This hotel is the place to stay if you Want to enjoy Alexandria and im very glas i had the chance to stay in such a beautiful...

San Giovanni Stanly Alexandria hotel ||is a true sample of excellent hospitality. This lovely hotel is located in an excellent location,the hotel right on the beach. It is extremely clean & comfortable and has a very beautiful view. The food is very good and there were many varieties to choose from.||Staff is very friendly and helpful.
