We have booked a room for a family of 2 adults and 2 children, arriving late night after 2am.||||On arrival we were shown the room that had sleeping arranged for only 3 people: one small double bed and foldable single.||We thought it must be some mistake but checked our booking and it is clearly written we are 2 + 2. ||||||We asked for an additional bed but our request was fobbed of as apparently they have no beds available, they gave as an additional pillow and a duvet and left to manage the night whatever way we want to. We had a long journey and no energy to argue as no one was willing to listen. ||My husband had to sleep on the cold floor as double bed was barely enough to fit 2 people. ||||In the morning we complained at the Reception and the person working there found it very amusing and laughed that we had to sleep on the thin duvet on the floor with a thin bed sheet to cover...||We were told that they will kindly upgrade us on to a bigger accommodation at additional cost. We don't need a bigger room, we need additional bed. It felt like a scam to put us in such a situation to have no choice but pay more if we want to sleep on the bed.||||Really very disappointed with this horrible experience and how the hotel handled it, is that's the way to treat your customers to throw a duvet and make us sleep on the floor and pay for this??? If I want to sleep on the floor I can do it in my own house, not in Egypt on my holiday on a very cold stone floor. ||Obviously now my husband is suffering from cold and flu as he was complaining how cold the floor was. ||He is not that person to fight and argue so he let it go. But I have a very strong feel of injustice and want to warn you against this place. ||||If you are family with children of have fear of hights please avoid this hotels as their windowsnand balconies have no locking system and can be easily open by a child. ||Across the road from the hotel there is some fitness centre which runs late night classes blasting loud music as if it was just next door. ||Breakfast buffet is in very dark room that you can not clearly see what is served, some dishes were questionable like cheese and cold meat selection, I think it was same plate served every day. You could not have hot beverages as you had to order it from the staff who continued to dissappear in the kitchen downstairs. Same with omelette, we had to repeat our request multiple times. ||The security guard was very unhelpful forcing his services with loading our luggage which we refused. Yet he managed to grab our suitcase and drag on the dirty floor soiling it. ||Safety box - Don't use it, the power was going off and if anything was there inside you would not be able to open it.||||It's not a family hotel, there were no other female customers except me and on one occasion one...

Arrived late at nigdy, 2-3am. We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children. Got a small room to accommodate only 3. One of us had to sleep on cold floor having only one duvet and one pillow despite us asking to arrange a foldable bed or give mattress or extra duvet to put on the floor. It was very cold to sleep on the floor. Next morning receptionist found it very amusing and laughed when we complained. No words of apology. They offered to upgrade to bigger space at extra cost. It feels like a scam to make you get bigger room.
No security on window and balcony door, can easily open and if you have young children of heights phobia it's not the place for you. Bad location : some sort of fitness centre across the road who started their sessions at 11pm with blasting music. Breakfast buffet is very dark room where you can't see what is offered. Cheese and cold meat felt old and it was same plates served each day. No staff around to ask for a tea or omelette. Security guard tried desperately to be useful and despite us being vocal to let us handle own luggage he dragged out suitcases in dirt soiling them.
Don't use safety box as it's not allowing you to set up new pin and power goes off unable to open it.
Small lifts, you cant accommodate all your luggage and yourself as no space or weight limit exceeded.
WiFi was going on and off all the time.
We didn't do proper check on this hotel otherwise wouldn't book it but we had to provide address for Egyptian visa processing.
PS. My expectations were not exceptional: just get 4 sleeping arrangements for what we have booked for. This is the only purpose of the hotel to provide place to sleep and you totally failed it. Staff made absolutely no attempt to help us and bringing a duvet to throw on the floor like in some substandard hotel is simply...
Read moreThis is a great little hotel in the heart of a good area. It was clean and comfortable and I enjoyed the combination of air-conditioning and heat in the room. Excellent shower. The accommodation covered all of the amenities of needs, such as tea and coffee in the room and bottles of water, and included a nice breakfast in the restaurant. For breakfast you can ask for an omelet and a coffee latte which is included.||It is a little noisy at night, hotel doors stick unfortunately. Outside in the street Egyptians like to honk their horns at all hours. However, I like the fact that I could open my hotel window for some air.||The staff is really nice and management wants to make sure you enjoy your stay. If you ask for a wake up call before 7 a.m. you might get a knock on the door by the security guard instead. The restaurant was kind enough to organize breakfast in a bag when having to go out on a tour at 7 a.m.||Unfortunately, there is no airport shuttle. You will have to arrange an Uber. The hotel might be able to arrange an Uber for you on your arrival.||Just down 1/2 a block is a lovely Metro grocery store that carries nice foods and drinks. It is a safe neighborhood to walk around in.||I will definitely stay here again. Thank you Stay Inn for...
