The Grand Hotel — Hotel in Red Sea

The sea was beautiful, with a large and wide sandy beach. It also features a gorgeous harbor where the seating area is absolutely stunning and provides a picturesque setting. We spent hours there just soaking up the enjoyment The food was verv diverse, tasted great, and the quantity and quality were excellent. , arabesque restaurant was exceptional in the dinner and all the staff there were very nice and helpful, and The Oud player was phenomenal and exceptionally artistic. the hotel has a lot of gardens which was amazing, this was our first visit, The entire hotel team is incredibly welcoming, treating guests with extreme politeness. They are pro-active in seeing what you need and providing assistance. We felt that customers who booked via Booking.com received particularly special treatment. Every member of staff was smiling and highly helpful

While my family and I had a wonderful time, there are a few areas that need management's immediate attention to improve the guest experience: • ​Mosquito control efforts need immediate attention. We were severely bothered by mosquitoes, which unfortunately caused a severe allergic reaction/skin irritation for my children. Effective pest control is urgently required. • ​The swimming pool is significantly undersized. While this is a structural issue, it is a point to note. • ​The Animation Team's staff interaction requires improvement. We found that some members of the team were not engaging with guests appropriately and, at times, displayed a condescending attitude. The only exceptions who were excellent with the children were Iscian, Mimi, and Sara. • ​The evening entertainment shows need significant enhancement. The quality of the performances was quite poor and did not meet the standard typically offered by other hotels."

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the holiday we spent at your hotel. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the wonderful staff members who were instrumental in making our stay so enjoyable.

DON’T GO!!! We are currently in Red Sea Grand Hotel Hurgada

ROOMS Our rooms were labeled as ,,superior”. First things first the average temperature in our room is 26,5 Celsius and we had our air conditioning repaired twice. The standard of the room is really not good. Whole hotel looks like it was one of the best in 1986 but hasn’t been renovated since.

CUSTOMER SERVICE Most of the staff doesn’t speak English or German so it’s hard to even order a proper drink. That turns out to be one of the biggest problems of this hotel. Beverage machines are not available for guests so you have to ask waiters for drinks so simple such as water or cola. To be fair you can always fix yourself a tee or coffee. Waiters rarely come up to guests, and after you order you have to wait 5-20 minutes to get what you ordered. Because waiters don’t understand what u said-often times they get your orders wrong or they DON’T BRING DRINKS AT ALL. Dance shows, circus and things like that, that to my knowledge are always free, are here charged 5-10$. Guests also have to pay if they want to use the gym.

BEACH There is more than enough space for every one. But you can also hear loud party music coming from 3 different sports of the hotel.

BARS There are plenty of bars but just like with waiters orders are often wrong. There’s been situations where they’ve been out of water or fanta which don’t seem to be so exquisite to ran out. Some drinks such as Mijito are paid extra.

FOOD Food is tasty but the menu doesn’t change during the course of the stay. Some kinds of bread just finish at the beginning of the meal same with some beverages. There are no fruits apart from oranges, melons and date nuts. Watermelons are paid extra on the beach.

UNPLEASANT SITUATIONS Members of animation team walk around offering ticket to the mentioned before parties. Said that we are not sure if we want to come, and we’re not that eager to go he gave us the tickets. Its just a printed out piece of regular printer paper. We thought that tickets were more of an advertisement leaflet. Later that day he asked if we’ll come to the party and if not he demanded, not asked, demanded to give the tickets back or else we’ll have to pay 5$. He didn’t say that while giving us the tickets. Aslo the day before we didn't have to pay for them, having taken them from a different animator.

For couple days in a row we have been taking Turkish coffee in the beach bar (early afternoon) and one day suddenly the staff refused to serve that to us due to a rule they only serve Turkish coffee after 3pm. Even tho there was no problem with that few...

I just spent seven days here with my mom, and honestly, it was one of the best trips we’ve ever had. Everything about this hotel was amazing — from the food and the people to the location and atmosphere.

The hotel has around four or five restaurants and several bars, and every single one feels different and special. The food everywhere was great, but the Arabic restaurant was on another level. It had this beautiful, Egyptian-inspired vibe, with a guy playing guitar while everyone was eating — it felt so peaceful and magical. The grill food there was insanely good, especially the meat and all the sides. And even though the restaurant was always full and super busy, the staff handled everything so well. The waitresses were so sweet and smiling all the time, even when it was packed. Honestly, they deserve extra stars just for how amazing they were⭐️🤩⭐️🤩

A lot of people said the hotel is old, but I honestly didn’t notice that at all. Everything looked clean, fresh, and really well taken care of. The whole place has this warm, welcoming feeling that makes you relax instantly.

The staff everywhere were fantastic — they work so hard, especially in the heat, but they still manage to stay so friendly and positive all the time. You can really tell they care about the guests. One evening our room felt a bit warm, so we asked for a fan, and it literally arrived within five minutes — they were so quick and helpful!

The location is perfect too! The hotel is right by the beach, so it’s super easy to just walk down, and from there you can even take boats to different destinations for a full-day trip, which was such a fun experience. The sea is crystal clear and the whole area just feels like a dream.

There’s always something happening too — music, shows, DJs, live bands — everything’s so lively and fun but still chill when you want it to be.

Honestly, I’d give this place ten stars if I could. Everything was beyond my expectations, and both me and my mom already want to go back. I’ll definitely be visiting this...
