This has got to be one of the best Hotel's / holidays we have had in a very very long time. The hotel is situated in a nice spot close to some decent shops within a short walk. It has its own beach with the most amazing sea life and ideal for snorkelling. There is an abundance of sun loungers either round the pool or down towards the beach.|Staff - Amir (for beer) he has to be one of the best restaurant managers here. He met us on our first night and literally looked after us for the duration of our stay. Nothing was too much for him. George, in the main restaurant, again, he was a really lovey man, who again couldn't do enough for us. Rameses, one of the many waiters was great. He also made the best cups of tea 😍|TUT TUT - this was an added bonus here, its like a free shuttle service to get you from reception to either the pool or down to the lift for the beach. Mike, the driver was the friendliest guy, he was brilliant, always happy to pick us up and drop us off when we needed. |Alex from LOTUS SPA, he is a nice guy, not pushy with selling the facilities, but always happy to stop and have a chat with you |SPA - the Spa girls are lovely - we had four lovely massages while we were there, they were professional and always looked after your needs. The body scrub was amazing and we would recommend, especially at the beginning of the holiday.|Katrina - Guest relations manager, she is really lovely. She was happy to help in anyway she could and was always smiling and happy to offer assistance.|Snorkelling - one word, Amazing. The abundance of fish and sea life was something else. You get to see so many different species of fish it was unreal |Shop on site - there are no prices on the goods, so you do have to be mindful, that being said, it isn't as expensive as stuff in the UK so cant complain too much|||Pool area is clean and loads of sun loungers, the guards are tentative, there is a large pool where they do aqua gym and a great deep pool just for adults.|The pool bar is good and the guys work really hard. They serve snacks by the pool area at 4-5pm every day.||Beach bar was fab - the views of the red sea were incredible, you could literally sit just watching the sea / boats ||Mexican restaurant, the food was sooo good. The out side dining was lovely. The staff were brilliant and the food was really tasty |Italian Restaurant was really good. The staff were very attentive especially Arafat and the manager. I celebrated my birthday here, an amazing birthday cake was presented by the staff and they sang to me, it was lovely |Asian restaurant- the most delicious curries were served here, one of the al la carte places to eat at the sister hotel, well worth a visit if your craving a delicious curry or two|Birds Paradise - this a small haven for bird lovers, there is area to sit and watch the birds||The taxi service in the hotel is brilliant. We booked a couple of taxi's to got o SOHO and to the old market. You just book where you want to go with him and he will give you a mobile phone. When you are ready to come back, you just call the number pre programmed in the phone and the return taxi is booked for you.||Animation team was FAB! a huge shout out to Alysia 😘the newest member of the team. She was great, friendly and was always happy to get us involved without being pushy. The whole team do work hard and keep the guests entertained, (please stop the whistle for the aqua gym) ||There is probably loads more I could write about this place, but honestly, I loved it here. I would not hesitate to go back, and am already looking to book for next year.||A massive shout out to everyone who made this...
Read moreCould have been a very very nice stay, BUT !!||The hotel is located between Hadaba and Nama Bay, and in a very nice Egyptian style with small attached houses and rooms.|The hotel is a bit old and little bit used, but the rooms, restaurants, public toilets etc are very clean|The outdoor areas are very very well kept and very beautifull wit lot of flowers and groomed trees and bushes||The selection of food in the all-inclusive restaurant is above average, and the presentation of the food on the plates are far above average and very beautiful decorated. Maybe some of the most beautifull I've seen in this class of hotels. ||But all this get more or less destroyed by the worst most annoying animation team ever experienced.|I've been traveling to Sharm El Sheikh in the past 18 years at least 2 times a year, so a have a quite solid reference point.|I like all kind of music, and listens to music all the time.||The music at the main pool and at the beach, the first 2 days of our stay, was so loud by the animation team in the whole afternoons so it was literately impossible to have a normal conversation with the person in the sunbed right next to you.|And I'm not talking about the music during water activities like sumba etc., but it continued after the end of these events, and kept going and going.||There is a very nice square in front and around the Panorama Bar where guests are playing cards, talking and enjoying life in the evenings.|Or rather until 9'o clock in the evening when the children entertainment starts.|Again incredible loud music from the children entertainment.|Looking around it was obvious that many elderly people left due to the loud music, because it was difficult to have a conversation at all|And what about the kids ears ? They were forced to listen to this seriously loud music if they wanted to see or participate.|No wonder that only 1-2 kids joined every single evening.||Week 40/41 when we stayed at the hotel 70% of the guests were 50+ and above and 50-60% 60+ and above in age.|The animation team is / was completely out of touch with the guests !!||I spoke with many in the beach bar, Panomara bar and when you met people in the outdoor areas, and every single one were very annoyed and complained about the incredible loud Disco music.||I filed a complain to the reception, and was told that they knew about this loud music that obviously happened frequently, and the reception got several complains about the music.|The following 2 days were very pleasant with relaxing music in a decent volume, but then the volume started to crawl up again, and on the last day of our stay, the level was almost back to the same as when you couldn't have a normal conversation. in the afternoon||The management needs to replace the 2 oldest guys in the animation team responsible for this seriously loud music before it chases the guests away ||According to our experiences we can't recommend this hotel to people above 25 of age as long as the management haven't get control over this annoying very very loud disco music, and I'll not go back to this hotel before I know that the management are in control of the animation team and their damaging and...
Read moreWe have just returned from a week half term trip with the kids are we largely had a very nice time. The rooms were great and cleaned every day and the staff were great. We did have the a la carte at Fish Market and the Grill which weren’t really to our liking but we enjoyed the Italian although it was very rushed. We preferred to eat at the buffet as it had a great selection that changed every night. I work in London and eat out a lot at work so I am not quite sure what people eat when they are back home if they complain about the food? For breakfast there are made to order omelettes and pancake / waffle stations, lots of variety including eggs, pastries and fruit, juice and coffee. The lunch again - very good. Pasta, barbecue meats cheese station etc. Evening meal - lots of different cuisines and food cooked fresh to order. Drinks were a bit fiery but we enjoyed them. Big shout out to George and Amir in the main dining room who saved us tables for 5 at every meal and also to Ali by the slide pool who saved us 5 beds in the sun every day. Top tip - these guys earn a pittance and like to interact to practise English. So a 200 Egyptian pound (about 3 quid) every other day will make your holiday so much better with tables, drinks and sunbeds. As we finished drinks they brought us more. When there are no tables outside in the show area they made one up for us Goodfellas style 😂👍🏻. And just be polite and have a little chat from time to time - these are really great people. When we was there people from a certain demographic that has been mentioned numerous times on this thread - talked to them like rubbish and demanded this and that. Shouting and aggressive. There is no need for it. Also you can stand in line for a fresh omelette and these people just push in front of you and you have to say something. Just so very very rude and it doesn’t make their holiday any better. Another odd thing - if they bring out say a fresh cake like gateau size - they will happily take the whole thing. There was a guy making burritos fresh - 10 at a time. And the 2 people in front took 5 each. He is making them the whole time so why not eat 1 or 2 and if you fancy another go back? They absolutely load their whole tables with starters, 4 or 5 main courses and about 5 afters before even sitting down 🤷🏻♂️. One women even had a row with the barbecue chef because she took her purse out of a leather hand bag and asked him to fill it with barbecue meat that she could take away with her and when he refused she kicked off alarming. We liked the hotel and location but sadly the guest there at the same time made it so we would never return to the hotel...
