We stayed at Sultan Garden Resort as a group of friends mainly for diving, and the experience was outstanding overall.
Rooms
The rooms were spotless—honestly, some of the cleanest we’ve seen in a resort. Bed quality was excellent and very comfortable. The AC worked well, though it wasn’t the quietest, and on the last day it did shut off—but room service handled it quickly and professionally. The bathroom was large, clean, and had consistent hot water. WiFi was incredibly fast and reliable—not just in the room but literally everywhere: at the beach, by the pool, even out in the sea. We had a beautiful balcony view, a stocked minibar, and everything was on point.
Special thanks to Mohammad Latfi at reception—easily one of the most helpful and welcoming receptionists I’ve ever met. He really made our stay smoother and upgraded us to a great room. Also, props to Mahmood from room service—he constantly checked in, brought fresh towels and drinks, and even delivered fresh fruit daily. Excellent service.
Food & Dining
Breakfast was decent—timing was convenient, and the variety covered all the basics. Lunch and dinner were the real stars. The options were endless—meat, seafood, pasta, you name it. Big shout-out to Chef Mahmood Al Urof, who personally made us fresh pasta and brought energy and jokes to every interaction. A real highlight of our stay.
Location & Atmosphere
The resort is located right on the beach, which is clean, calm, and hosts quiet music events that don’t disturb the peace. Cafés and bars are just a short walk away. The whole vibe was relaxed and safe.
Amenities
There are five pools—some family-friendly, others adults-only. The North 38 pool was our favorite. It had an amazing vibe and a great bar inside the pool itself. Mohammed the bartender made our evenings unforgettable—funny, welcoming, and full of stories about the resort and Egypt in general.
The gym is small but has all the essential equipment. The spa was fantastic—clean, well-run, and priced fairly. We had full access to the jacuzzi, sauna, and more. Night entertainment included live music and dancing, with activities for both adults and kids. Definitely a family-friendly resort.
Staff & Service
The entire staff was professional and kind. Check-in was at 3 PM, check-out at noon—both were smooth. Housekeeping was consistent with no issues at all. One highlight: I lost my phone during checkout. Mahmood from security reviewed the cameras, tracked everything down, and found it within 10 minutes. Unbelievable service.
Another big thank-you to Miss Hager in the dining area—she always checked on us with a warm smile and made sure we had everything we needed at every meal.
Final Verdict
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ (5/5) This was a luxurious and relaxing experience. For divers, families, or anyone wanting a peaceful yet active vacation, Sultan Garden Resort delivers. I would absolutely come back. The resort is beautiful, but what really sets it apart is the people—attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making your stay special.

Read moreThis is already our second visit to Sultan Gardens Resort Sharm el Sheikh, and honestly, it’s no coincidence that we came back here. Our parents once recommended this hotel to us, and after our first trip, we realised we had found our place in Sharm. The hotel is incredibly green, well-maintained, beautiful, and thoughtfully organised down to the smallest details. The territory is large, yet everything is so conveniently located: pools, the beach, restaurants, and bars are all within easy reach. The service is always at the highest level – the staff are friendly, smiling, and ready to help at any moment. You can truly feel their genuine care for the guests. A special thanks to Mohamed Esawy, the waiter from the main restaurant on the first floor, who did everything to make our breakfasts, lunches, and dinners comfortable. He left us with only the best impressions. The food is very diverse, with a great choice of meat, fish, side dishes, vegetables, lots of fruits, and desserts. The seafood and grilled dishes are especially delicious, particularly the open-air dinners by the pool. I also want to highlight their wonderful coffee, which is a rarity in Egypt. The rooms are cosy, clean, and have everything you need, with good housekeeping and daily towel changes. The beds are comfortable, and the air conditioning works perfectly, which is especially important in hot weather. The sea is another story entirely. There is a very nice sandy entrance, convenient for children, and at the same time, there’s an incredible coral reef right nearby where you can watch colourful fish straight from the pontoon. If you snorkel, you can see stingrays, moray eels, and turtles. Last year, I even saw a huge tuna and thought it was a shark jumping out of the sea, but the lifeguard calmed me down. I also want to emphasise the animation team at the hotel – it’s truly outstanding. Throughout the day, the team creates a festive atmosphere: morning stretching, yoga, aqua aerobics, pool games, and beach volleyball. Everything is organised in an interesting, professional, and enthusiastic way. The animators are very charismatic, genuine, and fun, but at the same time, they are never pushy. They are always smiling, supporting guests, motivating them to participate in activities, but if you just want to relax, no one will force you to join. The evening shows are a special pleasure. Every evening there’s a different program: oriental dances, fire shows, live singing, contests, comedy performances. You can see that the team puts their hearts into their work, and every show is well-thought-out and professionally done. The atmosphere at these evening events is always light, festive, and inspiring, leaving you in a great mood for the rest of the night. This time, we felt even more strongly that the animation here is not just a formality – it’s a true highlight of the hotel that adds bright colours to your holiday. Kids are thrilled, and adults also happily join in all the programs. Special thanks to the chief animator for his understanding and help in resolving a conflict regarding music. Also, thank you to the animation team – Homos, Luca, Joo, Abdul, and Lilia – you are the best!!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 This is a place you always want to come back to, where you truly feel relaxed, calm, and surrounded by the beauty of nature and comfort. We are grateful to our parents for recommending it, and now we are happy to recommend Sultan Gardens Resort to anyone looking for the perfect holiday in Sharm...
Read moreJust returned from a 10 night all inclusive stay. What a fantastic experience!!||Pool - The resort has so many pools to offer. We based ourselves around the North 38 pool. It’s only for adults and was lovely and quiet in the mornings. Always plenty of sun beds available (presume the resort is not full). Mohamed the lifeguard is amazing and so lovely and helpful. The bar tender at the swim up bar Ahmed - Mahdy is lovely and attentive. Although the pool is well maintained the swim up bar (which is not assessable to the lifeguard) could do with a scrub. The pool towels very large, clean and soft. | |Beach - Again lots of sun beds available. The beach is lovely and clean. Amazing sunrise at approx 6am. Snorkelling is fab! We used the dive centre on site called Eagles and they were excellent. We did a scuba review and saw turtles and eagle rays just past the hotel jetty. Off the jetty there are some coral tables to help protect the reef. ||Room - We had a 2 bedroom family room for 3 adults to share. Room number was 558 and was great and clean. Came with amenities. Room was cleaned well daily and the man was great with lots of lovely towel displays. ||Food - We only ate at the main restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also had lunch at the snack pool bar a few times. The main restaurant was good. Lots of food available for all nationalities. The mangoes were to die for!! The waiters Lofty and Mohammed were so attentive. We always had drinks and a table. ||Drinks - Drinks at the adults only pool were very good but the drinks at the main lobby could be very hit and miss. Often very very strong or didn’t contain all or the correct ingredients of the cocktail (sometimes a bit made up). Most of the waiters were lovely though and Ahmed was brilliant and efficient. Cold small water bottles always available at all bars as well as 2 large bottle in the room every day. ||Entertainment - Lots to do every day including darts, stretching, water polo and water aerobics. The animation team seemed nice but most of them did not speak English and therefore didn’t have much contact with us. Every night there was a kids disco, dance show and live singers. This became very samey! ||Extra - Lots of sales people around the pools including pictures, spa treatments, boat trips and water sports. Although they came round daily they were not pushy but informative. We booked a boat snorkelling trip with EasyJet and was a nice day out. Outside the hotel are some shops and an ATM. We didn’t venture out further (Soho Square, Old town, Nama Bay or Cafe) as we have visited Sharm many of times before. ||Grounds - The resort grounds were excellent and very well kept. The hotel use waste water to water the grass and plants early in the morning and this has an occasional unpleasant smell but a great recycling initiative.||Other - Most shops and extra activities wanted paying in euros/dollars. Mainly Russian, Egyptian and other nationality guests who can be quite rude. There is a bus that takes you around the resort as it is very big. Never got bit by any mosquitoes but there are lots of moths around. WiFi around the hotel was very good.|We felt very safe at the hotel. The staff were just so attentive and great. We would love to...
