Me and my partner randomly discovered this place just walking by, and I am very happy we did, because this hotel-restaurant with a little observatory terrace is truly wonderful! The whole property is pretty big: there’s a hotel section, restaurant and bar areas, a swimming pool, a little garden, lots of cute sculptures and artwork scattered around, and an open-air terrace with fantastic views. The entire place looked well maintained and spotlessly clean. All the staff were very welcoming and sweet to us. We were seated right away and got a table on the edge with a beautiful view of nature. The place was not very busy that day - Saturday around 5 p.m.|My partner and I were not hungry, so we decided to get drinks first and ordered fresh watermelon juice. I believe everyone in the little town of Suchitoto is so chilled and relaxed, which is why it took almost 15 minutes for the waiter to bring the drinks. But it was completely fine, because we were just chilling and enjoying the beautiful views of the jungle and mountains. There was some soft tropical music playing in the background, which made the atmosphere enjoyable. Finally, we got our juices, and they were absolutely delicious and extremely fresh! Honestly, one of the best watermelon juices I have ever tried in my life (probably the only better one was in Costa Rica).|After that we decided to walk around the property and take some photos. The most fun part for me was finding the parrots sitting freely on a tree. They were friendly and didn’t care about us being very close, and I even had a chance to talk to them a little bit. They obviously speak Spanish, but they could repeat some English words too. Loved it! Then we went up the little stairs and checked the observatory terrace, which is simple but nicely decorated, a perfect spot for photos.|Before leaving, we went back to our table and ordered one appetizer to share. The restaurant menu is not very big, but it still has a good variety of food options. We decided to go with Yucca Fries with Pork pieces (Yuca frita con chicharrón), and of course ordered a second round of watermelon juices. Again, it took about 20 minutes until we got our food and drinks. Our dish was cooked well, but it could have been better. The pork was slightly dry; I wish it had been softer and juicier. But the yucca fries were tasty. On the side the waiter brought pico de gallo, so we mixed it with the pork to make it a bit moister, and it actually worked - the final dish tasted better with the pico. The watermelon juice was exceptional again, so tasty!|Prices on the restaurant menu seemed reasonable. For example, our Yucca with Pork was only $8, and the portion was pretty big, perfect for sharing. One fresh watermelon juice cost just $4. This business accepts major credit cards and Apple Pay, which is a plus.|If in the future I decide to come back to El Salvador and visit Suchitoto again for a full night, I will definitely stay at this hotel property, because I really loved and enjoyed my one-hour experience there! And I absolutely recommend this place to everyone traveling to Suchitoto. Believe me, visit this restaurant just to sit down, relax, enjoy a fresh watermelon juice, admire the views, and even talk to...

Read moreI would have liked to set a better review because the personnel was more than accommodating, but the managers do not know what hospitality means! No WiFi in the rooms (we're almost in 2020), despite being almost the only clients in the hotel (we booked 7 rooms when they had almost none) the kicked us out of the kitchen and the bars and do not allow us to have our own things, we pay extra for single rooms, and the cannot find a second key.....
They may have a nice view, and nice personnel, but their management is just plain bad, and they will ruin your experience and the hotel in the long run!
