Nice stay overall, but I had a few concerns I would like to mention. The fridge in the room was quite noisy, which made it a bit uncomfortable at night.
My main concern was with the bedding. On my very first night I felt very itchy, and this only improved after I replaced the sheets with my own. That made me wonder whether the provided sheets were properly washed, or if they had even been changed before my arrival. I also noticed small black hairs on the sheets more than once.
Another issue is the way the sheets and linens are stored. They all seem to be kept together in the same room, and almost every time I received new sheets, there were still small hairs or other residues on them. This makes me doubt whether the laundry process is thorough enough, or whether the problem comes from the storage itself. If there is any issue (for example pests or poor hygiene), it will not go away but instead spread to everything in that storage. I also wonder whether the pillows are properly washed on a regular basis.
My apartment was cleaned every second week, and no complains about that.
As area Myyrmäki might sound rough place, but location for Noli was perfect. Theres sport and outdoor areas, shopping malls, very near. Connections with bus/train everywhere, large free car parking.
My apartment was cleaned every second week, and I have no complaints about that. The cleaner always left the place spotless, so the issues with the sheets seemed to come from laundry and storage, not from the apartment cleaning.
As for the area, Myyrmäki might sound like a rough place, but the location for Noli was perfect. There are sports and outdoor areas, shopping malls very close by, excellent bus and train connections in all directions, and a large free car park.
Small suggestion: it would be nice if the sauna could stay open for an extra hour in the mornings on weekdays, and the shower drain in the sauna facilities could be checked for...
Read moreMy workplace celebrated its 50th anniversary and organized a big concert at the neighboring Energia arena. I booked a room in the neighboring Noli hotel and my intention was to spend a staycation night there. When I arrived at the hotel reception, I noticed a note saying that the entire staff was exceptionally absent that day. It shouldn't have been a problem, because the check-in was designed to be automatic so that the customer programs his boarding pass himself using the numerical code he received. I immediately noticed that the pad where I had to enter the number code contained 6 points, while the number code I received was longer. So I couldn't program my access card and I couldn't enter the hotel. No one answered the phone numbers on the signs, even though I tried to call many times. The only number I didn't try to call was the security company because their sign said they charge extra if they have to come over. As a result of all this, I was unable to enter the hotel. The next day, I filed a complaint with the Noli Hotel customer service and was surprised when I heard the customer service manager's answer: they don't think they are responsible for what happened, because the mistake was mine: I should have called the security company. As a gesture of "good will", they offered to refund 50% of the price. According to the manager, booking.com had made a mistake and I have to ask them for the rest of the compensation. When I contacted booking.com customer service, they told me that the Noli hotel had rejected my reservation and that's why I couldn't check in. I have to say that this is the worst hotel experience of my life. The operation of Noli Hotel is amateurish and arrogant: they do not admit their mistakes and therefore do not improve...
Read moreRacism, poor service, and a completely profit-driven place.
I initially chose this place because my friend was staying here, and they advertised a 50% discount. Later, they claimed I hadn’t provided a reference name. However, I found the reference name listed on the invoice. When I showed it to them, they acted as if they didn’t know anything about it. This was just the first red flag regarding their management.
I also noticed that there were no cleaning supplies in the shared areas. It seems like they deliberately avoid providing these so that they can charge extra cleaning fees, especially to people like me or those whose contracts are about to end. The rooms are cold, small, and absolutely not worth the price. In my own room, I’m afraid to cook because I feel like the fire department might show up, or I might be charged extra for something unexpected. The staff is not problem-solving at all.
I came here because of my friend, but I can’t even use the address properly. The amount I pay for this tiny room each month is equivalent to almost 1.5 times the rent for a proper home. In the Playstation room, people hide the games, so you can’t play. In the laundry area, there’s constant chaos; people take each other’s turns. The coffee machine on the ground floor frequently breaks down, and even when it works, there are no cups available.
The only advantage might have been the location, but even that fails as you can’t find parking on weekends.
This place is absolutely not worth the money. It has been a regretful experience from start to finish, and they’ve caused trouble for both me...
