Eerikin Pippuri Kebab — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

Based on the name alone, i had high expectations. The outside was inviting. Enough space during the time of visiting. Nice view to other restaurants and shopping centre. Beautiful interior details. I don't know if they have restrooms available as there was no need for one. Place was clean.

Naturally i ordered a Kebab dish. The size and amount of food was generous. It was visually inviting and delicious dish. Tastewise, not so much. A massive disappointment. Kebab tasted frozen. Sauce did not have enough taste. Salad dressing was the best part and the additional rice tasted refreshing. Also the bread (under kebab) and yoghurt did not have enough taste. The dish felt rushed and lacked love and respect to ingredients. The food was delivered to table quite quick. Just adding salt and pepper (as the name hints) would help a lot. But mostly fresh cut kebab would surely change it a lot. I have worked in a Kebab place before and this did not come even close. I wish there were several jalapenoes instead of about one and a half.

Price on the typical side, a 9.9€ dish. Very friendly and polite personnel. I wish they put effort on the taste to make it worth it. Otherwise i would look for another restaurant. You get your belly full for sure, but the lack of spices and taste makes you NOT want to come back. Two stars for the amount of food and good atmosphere created...

For a kebab place the service(as whole) is of high quality. We occasionally visit Eerikins pippuri and it always delivers, especially at Myyrmanni, not just the kebabs, the pippuripihvi is quite tasty too. After looking through some of the reviews, i was left dumbfounded people looking for inspiration and love in a kebab meal? I’ve never seen...

Saavuin ravintolaan ja ei mennyt kauaakaan, kun henkilökunta erittäin kohteliaasti toivotti minut tervetulleeksi.

Tilasin Iskenderin ja istahin pöytään odottamaan, annos tuli alle 5 minuutissa, mikä ravintola-alan ammattilaiselle oli vähintäänkin hämmentävää.

Aloin syömään ja huomasin ensiksi riisin olevan pilalla (multainen, kellarimainen haju) ja salaattikaan ei ihan sitä tuoreinta mallia ollut. Kebab oli hieman päässyt kuivahtamaan, mutta maistui silti hyvälle. Tomaattikastikkeessa käytetty selvästi tomaattipyreetä, sillä se on hieman happaman makuista.

Näkisin, että palvelu ja tilat ovat upeat, mutta nyt olisi hyvin tärkeää tarkastella konspeti uudestaan, sillä havaitsemani asiat sai minut miettimään, että valmistetaanko tuotteet etukäteen ja lähinnä lämmitetään tilauksen tullessa? Annos ei meinaan ollut mitenkään kuuma saadessani sen ja ei välttämättä myöskään täytä lain...
