I stayed for a couple of nights in a Superior/Double/Twin room with a sea view.||||Pros||- there is a free parking in the hotels own yard||- there is a sea view (main land side, though)||- big room with a balcony||- short walking distance from the city.||||Cons||- noisy room doors: cannot open silently, door keeps banging when closing it||- the room has a door to the other room beside it and it lets all the talk, fart noises(!) through||- the balcony door does not have stoppers, it also makes a lot of noise when closing||- you can hear other people talking on their balcony even when you have the balcony doors closed||- the toilet seat was mounted to the wall, not to the floor. It kept making noises (when you sat on it) which made you wonder which occasion it will break under you.||- occasional loud traffic noise from the nearby road and the opening bridge||- no restaurant at the hotel, so you always need to go to the town to eat. Sometimes you might want to finish your day at the hotel restaurant with a good meal and then retire to your room :)||- the room was too hot and the balcony door had to be kept open as...
Read moreWe stayed at the hotel when attending a wedding in Ekenäs. The check-in went great (if you're not here between 15-18 you need to call and inform before 18, the receptionist is available until 21 if you're late and called). The room was nice and clean (the have renovated and updated the rooms). The curtains were great, it was really dark in the room during the summer (there are drapes and draw down curtains...the draw down curtain scared us during the morning because it went up without us touching it). The parking was free and breakfast included. We walked from the hotel to the center of Ekenäs in 18 minutes, so really close. The breakfast was good, they has vegan youghurt, glutenfree options (cereal, bread, cookies), fruits, scrambled eggs, sausages, hard boiled egg, oat porridge, croissants, juices. The staff was friendly and loved the view from the back yard. Would come here again next time I need a...
Read moreI got told to vacate the restaurant area when I was having a look around as above the entrance read " restaurant " but as I was leaving I was told I wasn't allowed in that part of the hotel as it's only for personal after saying I was just checking out the restaurant I was told " it's not anymore open" and as the hotel is a good one or two kilometers away from any eating place means that unless your hungry and preparing for a long walk you would have to survive from breakfast untill breakfast the next day but I must also say I found it clean and friendly but definitely overpriced considering the location and facilities when compared to other hotels in the center of Tammisaari right on the sea front with functional restaurants and room prices at half the price of the...
