Pub Santa Fe — Restaurant in Raseborg Sub-Region

This place doubles as a bar and a restaurant. With a club upstairs and live music downstairs on the weekend. I didn't get to experience this since I went on a Sunday. Regardless, I will just focus on reviewing the restaurant part.

For an appetizer I ordered snails and garlic bread. I've never seen snails at 9 euro so I was excited to try it at such a cheap price point. They were a tougher than I'm used to, and perhaps not as tasty. But I would still recommend them to try for yourselves, overall I was satisfied with the snails. The garlic bread was nothing special, I would have been ok with skipping it and do not recommend it. It's just toasted baguette slices, could easily make it at home.

I had a bacon burger with sweet potato fries. It was certainly well made but nothing exceptional. Why I'm giving this restaurant a 4 is due to how satisfied my colleague was with his burger. Which I tried and would certainly order if I went back. The open house burger comes with only a bottom bun and there's a good portion of pepper sauce that tops it. The pepper sauce is what elevated the dish, and is something I've only seen in Ekenas. I'm guessing it's a Finnish thing.

My other colleague ordered a steak, it looked tender and she seemed to enjoy it.

I think my bill came out to 28.50 for a two course meal and tea. So decently priced.

The restrooms were clean and the overall ambience of the restaurant was homey. The staff was also very friendly.

The place has an "old feel" to it, service was "professional" but not friendly, items are not self made so the industrial taste is present in the food, dips and sauces. A disappointment when the price for a steak burger is 17.50€ and you feel like you could have had...
