La Plagne is a good location for beginners and intermediates to ski. There are lots of wide blue runs even from the tops of the mountains. With red and black runs available for those more advanced. There is also the possibility of using the telecabin to go across to Les Arcs if you want to extend the skiing area.
La Plagne Bellecote, although not as big as La Plagne Centre has all the amenities you will need for a week self catered skiing, including an open air swimming pool. The accommodation is largely apartments which vary in their offering, most of which are a short walk to the snow and lifts.
To travel around the resort, there is a regular free bus service, which is reliable. Some of the cabin lifts also stay open longer to provide public transport.
Other activities available in the resort include tobagganing, skido driving and bobsleigh to name a few. Night life is centred around restaurants and bars, for the time we stayed it was quiet at night. Very family...

Beginner ski school area is not as good as other areas around the resort - as there is no small ‘magic carpet’ and the area adjacent for their practice has learner adults in the same area - which is unfortunate.
La Plagne has lots of villages spread over the mountain which means lots of people everywhere you go - with queues to match, particularly in Bellecote (all the time).
