Résidence Club MMV Le Cœur des Loges — Hotel in Albertville

We stayed here for 4 nights in February.||Pros:|- the bathroom was modern, and clean on arrival|- the size of the room was good|- storage inside the room is good|- good location for ski in / ski out|- modern rooms||Cons:|- reception closed for most of the day, they work strange and limited hours, not overly warm when you ask questions|- advertised as having a sauna (one of the reasons we booked it) but limited to being open a few hours a day, must book first, tried to use it but after 16:00 it is chargeable and no one was around at reception / spa to try and book it when we wanted to use it…|- only one toilet roll per stay? We were looked at gone out by reception team when we asked for another |- not even a bar of soap or basic shower gel to wash yourself with on arrival. Seems like something that is fairly standard but not given here.|- lifts temperamental, one small lift down a corridor took forever to arrive |- having to clean your own room at the end, a bit strange |- some of the crockery was not clean in our kitchen, when I went to use it, I had to wash it up first|- you have to strip your own bed and sort your own trash on leaving|- had to wait 6 days for our deposit to be refunded to us after asking at reception “we will refund once we have checked your room”|- room dusty under bed|- sofa had some questionable marks and sofa cushions slipped a lot|- beds rock hard and uncomfortable|- room temperature appears to be centrally controlled, not ideal when you come back after skiing and want warm radiators. Should be able to control the temp of your own room but radiators were on at strange times ||Perhaps we have misunderstood the type of accommodation but having stayed in self-catering / room only apartments before I would still at least expect basics like toilet roll and a soap dispenser||The stay was ok but as per the points above. |Theres a restaurant on site but it’s quite a walk up the hill to get to a livelier area at night time.|Would not...

We rented one apartment at the end of December 2019. Pros: the apartment is well equipped location is good, a pharmacy as well as a grocery store are near MMV spa is good (hammam, sauna, jacuzzi) parking is good

Cons: we were supposed to get the apartment at 5pm but we had to wait 3 hours with little to no explanations on why and when we would get the apartment. All of this while being sick. No compensation except some viennoiserie were offered which we had little interest for considering we were sick. The picture attached shows all the other guest waiting with us for the rooms to be ready. swimming pool is not deep and very cold. overall the Résidence is not calm at all, there are a lot of kids and it’s very noisy. wifi is free but basically doesn’t exist, it almost a false advertisement. No matter where you are the bandwidth is so slow you can’t load a web page.

Un appartement loué une semaine fin décembre 2019. Points positifs : l’appartement est bien équipé ; la situation géographique, proche des pistes, avec une pharmacie et un carrefour à côté ; le spa de bonne qualité ; le parking.

Points négatifs : Après avoir fait 24h de route nous pensions pouvoir récupérer l’appartement à 17h comme prévu, mais nous avons dû attendre 3h que l’appartement soit prêt. Aucune compensation proposée à part des viennoiseries le lendemain matin. Vous pouvez voir la photo avec tous les clients qu’attendent leur chambre, comme nous depuis 3h. la piscine est froide et peu profonde ; de manière générale ce n’est pas un endroit calme, il y a des enfants et beaucoup de bruit. le wifi est inutilisable à tel point que c’est presque de la publicité mensongère. Il est impossible de charger une page internet peu importe où vous êtes dans la résidence.

I don't know where to start but I will start by saying don't bring your family to this place, on paper and on 1st reflection it looks great....but its far from it- 1 - we couldn't check in till 5pm which was frustrating, we went back at 5pm and told the room wasn't ready and not given a time it would be, told to just wait! The reception was full of other people waiting everyone looking pretty pissed off! 2 - Don't think you will be able to sleep, the place is made from concrete and all you hear all night and all morning are chairs scraping on the hard floors and it's REALLY noisy like an echo chamber - I even mentioned it to reception and they know about the problem apparently everyone complains about it...could easily be solved with padded/ fabric bottoms. 3- you also won't sleep because the beds are so hard....we asked at reception for a mattress topper, which they obviously didn't have, so I asked if we could have an extea duvet cover to put under our sheets to soften it up to which i was told they are full have have absolutely no spare duvets- haha as if!! 4- no toilet roll was provided we had to beg for 1 roll. 5- we had 2x kids and you get 1x small towel and something tea towel size ALL WEEK! We asked for a few extra towels and was told it would be €8 each! 6- pool is freezing- kids had to get out after 5 mins as we're shivering 7- no hot tub...infact its boarded over so that has no intention of ever working! 8- STUPID heating - they towel warmers & rads that we need to dry stuff don't work...turns out they are on a timer we can't change and come on in the night turning the room into a furnace getting you up in hot sweats! 9 - Staff don't seem bothered in helping you with issues and customer relations, just shrug it off like we are stupid for asking! Not what I expect from a £4500 sunweb...
