Ski La Source — Hotel in Albertville

Thirteen of us stayed at Chalet Versoye for a week 28 January to 4 February 2023. From the very first enquiry the signs were good. Linda always gave quick responses and it was clear this was a personal, tailored service rather than a big company. As a result we had an easy experience throughout and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Linda. The chalet is in a wonderful location in a quaint authentic hamlet with ski in and ski out being a huge plus. The chalet is well appointed with an excellent boot room and the bonus of a hot tub on the terrace. Although some rooms are a little small everyone was very comfortable. The chalet hosts were very welcoming, providing sumptuous varied meals and went well beyond the call of duty. We stayed in chalet versoye over new year week and had the most wonderful stay with our hosts Cass and Jesse. They went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and comfortable. The food was great (especially Cass’s professional-standard baking) and I particularly appreciated the efforts made for my 4 year old daughter - from recommending beginner ski runs, catering for her fussy eating, letting her help with the afternoon baking and just generally being amazing with her. The bedrooms were beautiful, and the views from the upstairs balconies stunning. It’s a 5 minute walk to the lifts which is also a huge bonus!
