Camp de Base Café — Restaurant in Albertville

Went for dinner this evening with our family of 5 (two 4 year olds & an almost 2 year old), plus my parents. The food was superb, and the choice for the kids was also great. They even warmed up some food for our daughter that we brought as she wasn’t feeling well so we wanted to give her on something familiar.

As well as the food being first class, the service was genuinely great too. Really welcoming, and all the staff made us feel at home even if we were a bit noisy with the kids.

In summary: Food was great, wine was great, service was great, music was great (nearly forgot to mention this, but a lot of the music brought up memories and discussion for us), and we’d highly recommend for a family meal out, or for those enjoying a night out without children.

I really enjoyed my time visiting this bar. I really enjoyed the music night, the "lost in the woods" local IPA and a delicious fresh pizza. The staff were all very friendly. I was expecting to say goodbye to the team last Friday 24.1.25 but sadly got taken out from behind by a skier over near Champagy. Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye. I was hospitalised for 5 days. I'm now home safely after being repatriated. Hopefully I'll be able to visit you again at some stage in the future when I fully recover. Regards to you all for making me...

We had the best time at Camp de Base. Chris and his team are so friendly and welcoming. The beer is utterly superb and so fresh. I'd strongly recommend Lost in the Woods. It's all local stuff as well. We mentioned that we'd like a cider. The very next day, Chris had ordered them in. Next time I visit, I'm looking forward to trying the food.
