La Zaccota — Restaurant in Albertville

We had high hopes on arrival, but after a long wait to place our order, I had to wait outside the restaurant in the cold with my daughter because our eyes were stinging from the fumes from burning fat. It took about an hour to get any food (and then only 3 of 4 pizzas arrived). Take away orders were being sent out much quicker. The pizza bases were still dough in the middle. Great variety and pizzas are well done (possibly stone baked?), best is the value - the cost is what you'd expect in a town, not in the mountains. The star mark down is over taste - they tasted like something was missing and I think it's herbs - could do with oregano and basil (or garlic and parsley) on them...

Great value. Nice family run atmosphere. Locals eating in there. Good food and friendly service. Will definitely go back again and take more people with us. Give it a try they deserve supporting at those prices in the mountains. Use them or lose them. Thank you from the 3 Brits...
