Stayed in this wonderful chambre d'hote in August. Set in a charming french townhouse in central Angers, this is a lovely place to just slow down and savor this pretty town and its surrounding area. The hotel is beautifully decorated, retaining many of its original architectural features but nevertheless with a strong accent on the modern, so providing a calm atmosphere of charm and elegance. Rooms are fresh and stylish. The bathroom was modern and very clean. Staff on hand were helpful, courteous and offered good tips and advice on what Angers had to offer. All in all this is a truly delightful place to stay and with room rates that comparatively speaking are very competitive , it is tremendous value too. Best accommodation we had on our trip to France this year. Highly...

I believe it is an old mansion that has been updated very nicely -- keeping the old charm but giving some modern updates -- to accommodate bed and breakfast guests. Alexandra at the front desk speaks English very well and was a lovely hostess -- always concerned about my well being. The bed was comfortable and my bathroom had a large bathtub and large sink. Breakfast was huge, delicious and always included fresh fruit, fresh baguette and croissants. The place is immaculate and I really felt like I was living in France -- not some generic hotel. Will definitely...
