A nap in the Luberon — Hotel in Apt

Staying here for three nights! It will be our base of operation for day trips in the Luberon. Rooms are completely remodeled clean and very modern. There are only four rooms in the entire place. The hosts Nicholas and Barbara are gracious Belgians who maintain the place about half of the year and live in Belgium the rest of the year. Breakfast is provided, and each guest has a shelf in the refrigerator for any other food they might like to buy and bring back. Drinks at other times are on the pay as you go honor system. Lunch and dinner you do out either in Bonnieux itself or in adjoining towns. You can walk to Bonnieux....7 minutes uphill, but others of course would require driving. So the location is fantastic as a rural retreat, but of course not so much so if you want to be within easy walk of eating places or shopping. Just outside of Bonnieux, a charming four room B&B with a stunning view across the valley. A beautiful pool and very nice rooms (+loft) with enough room to stretch out. A great breakfast in the communal area, made extra special with fresh cooked eggs and baked treats. If you are so fortunate, in April to open and during the summer, you'll have the owners there to welcome you. It's very walkable to town, as long as you don't mind the gentle incline. We (3 friends) stayed at this beautiful accommodation for 2 nights. From the warm welcome to the delicious breakfast...this place is amazing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The outside seating and grounds are lovely. Good WiFi. The pool was a very pleasant surprise after a hot day walking. The hosts are so friendly and thoughtful and do everything possible to make your stay wonderful. Just a few minutes walk to all the great restaurants in the village....
