Residence Paris Asnieres — Hotel in Arrondissement of Nanterre

I stayed at this hotel for over a week, and my experience was very disappointing. The room was much smaller than what was shown in the pictures, or I was given a smaller room despite paying a high price. The service was extremely poor, and the hotel’s internet didn’t work properly, the elevator I don’t even mention how small was it I had small luggage I had to go upstairs by myself. Since I stayed for more than a week, housekeeping was supposed to clean the room, but the staff was incredibly rude. They kept knocking aggressively, flipping their expressions, and acting disrespectfully. I didn’t even feel safe leaving my room with such behavior around. When they finally cleaned, they had a bad attitude and didn’t even restock essentials like toilet paper, tea, or hand wash. On top of that, the room was freezing. The heating system was terrible, and I had to wear two hoodies indoors just to stay warm. Overall, this was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Definitely not...

Decent location within travel zone 3 of Paris. If you're planning on using the public transportation, this hotel is ideal for you (You can use a t+ ticket to get here from central Paris). I stayed in a studio room which I loved. It's cozy and has a functioning kitchenette with silverware and utensils if you're on a tight budget food-wise. Obviously, this isn't a 5-star hotel and if you're used to the nicest of nice things this place probably isn't for you. Having said that, if you're the kind of person who isn't comfortable going to a hostel or an air bnb, this place is great within the same price range. Service-wise, the staff is probably one of the nicest people I've ever experienced. They were accommodating enough to answer my call at 1:00 AM when I thought my key didn't work during my stay. I stayed here because I was visiting a friend who lived just up the street. The location was ideal, and the price was quite competitive.

The staff was great - always friendly and helpful. The room was well supplied and the bed was comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. I used the iron in the laundry room and spent time in the garden.

The one downside was that the WIFI was not usable in the room. I spoke about it with several staff members. I had to go the common areas for my Zoom calls and even to check my email. I had limited cell coverage because a have a foreign plan, otherwise I would have tethered my computer to my phone so I could use it in my room.
