Camping Les Jardins d'Elsa — Hotel in Béziers

We stayed here for one week just recently and for the most part it was enjoyable. The mobile home itself was fairly modern, clean and well featured. It looked like a company called "O'Hara" manufactured them all. It was one of the smallest campsites we have ever stayed in which can be a positive, but as a result there was no nightly entertainment on-site so we had to leave and go off-site any night we wanted any kind of holiday buzz. There was also a lack of street lighting walking back at night to the campsite from all directions. There were always sun loungers to be had by the pool. There was also a gym we could use freely. The beach was a short 10 minute walk at 600m. Then there was Euro Park which was a 20 minute walk. The main strip of restaurants, shops and bars was approx. 15 minutes walk away.||||Our home had 2 bedrooms. In general there was a lack of power sockets and there were none at all in the main double bedroom which was strange so we couldn't charge our phones or plug in mosquito repellents. I got pretty badly bitten as a result. This was not helped by a number of fairly stagnant looking ponds and streams very close by which would have served as a good breeding ground for the little bast@rds.||||Personally I wouldn't return from a mosquito perspective but then I am particularly susceptible to them. Most other residents didn't seem to be affected anywhere near as much as I was. The campsite is also much more isolated than others in the area.||||The onsite restaurant was a tad pricey if compared to the main strip restaurants within walking distance so we didn't eat there.||||Staff were friendly and you could get baguettes and croissants delivered...

Agréable séjour à Vias. Nous avons été accueillis par une agréable jeune fille qui nous a accompagné jusqu'à notre logement en mobile home premium. Le logement était propre et nous n'avons pas eu à emmener nos draps. Les lits étaient faits, super agréable. Nous avons demandé à être livrés pour le petit déjeuner de viennoiseries et de pain. (livraison entre 8h et 8h30), C'était fort agréable. A notre arrivée, nos enfants ont gouté des crêpes, offertes par le camping tous les jeudis, ils se sont régalés. Nous étions à 600 m de la plage que nous n'avons pas trop profitée car la piscine et ses abords étaient plus agréable. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter de la restauration du camping car nous étions en balade toute la journée. Nous étions aussi à 700 m du centre ville et de luna park. Klein en sociaal. Kleinschalige camping waardoor kinderen snel contact met elkaar maken. Omdat je camping niet op of af kunt zonder afstandbediening en/of code kun je de kinderen vrij laten spelen. Ook het zwembad is met een kinderslot beveiligd voor kleine kinderen, dus ook de kleinste kinderen kun je laten rondlopen. Rondom het zwembad ligt kunstgras waardoor de kinderen veilig kunnen rondrennen zonder uit te glijden (wordt niet heet) en de glijbaan vinden ze fantastisch. Omdat de glijbaan niet eindigt in een diep bad kunnen ook kleine kinderen zelfstandig van de glijbaan. Accommodatie was gedateerd, maar voldeed. Ieder jaar worden er weer accommodaties vernieuwd (dus je kunt pech hebben). Strand op loopafstand (niet te aan te raden met buggy, bolderkar kan wel).
