Cap d'Agde Studio — Hotel in Béziers

My wife and I stayed for 10 nights on our 4th trip to Cap in the last 8 years. The owner and hosts get 5 stars for their friendliness and expeditious hospitality, including a private taxi from the Cap train station to the Naturist Village and a golf cart ride to the apartment. The apartment was elegantly remodeled and had everything you needed including a washing machine which we used quite a bit. The other accommodations included a full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, a safe, an espressos (pod) coffee maker, a nice working electric stove top and range/oven, and nice big walk in shower. The Bluetooth speaker was a nice thing to have as well! The only accommodation lacking was the bedding which included an overly firm mattress pad and very very uncomfortable pillows. Had the bedding included a slightly less firm and thicker mattress, and 4 Marriott style fluffy king or queen size pillows then this would be a 5 star worthy stay! Regardless, the apartment was beautiful and functional at a perfect location next to shops and restaurants and the beach! There are several studios for rent. In different areas. Where I was, the view was very beautiful, and the location central. In general, they all seem to be modernly furnished, and furnished in style. Some probably require a small update, given the transit and popularity of these rooms. Cleanliness seems to be decent. In my case, I arrived earlier and probably because I forced an early check in, and so the cleanliness was not exemplary. Again, this is probably my case. But there were no big and serious problems of any kind. The host is welcoming and helpful. Prices differ depending on location and room. In general, they are very high prices. It is a general problem throughout the resort ... There are offers with lower prices, but certainly with modest rooms. I felt good and I do not regret the choice made. As a conclusion, if you allow yourself to pay so much, it is a decent option. But not like a 5-star hotel in any city in Europe, at the price of 260 euros...

We have come to the naturist site every year and mostly used these. We have never had a problem until this time. It's the first time we've been asked for a deposit, but we didn't worry as we're not party animals. We left the apartment as we were asked to. Linen in the shower, dishwasher empty, rubbish removed etc. On leaving we got a message saying they were keeping €150 of our deposit as the room was dirty! He said it would take 1 1/2 hours of cleaning. There wasn't even a cloth to wipe the surfaces, let alone cleaning products. He went on to show pictures of drops of wine spilled on the floor. We weren't told we had to clean it other we'd have bought cleaning products. This is definitely the last time we will use these. Do yourselves a favour and...
