Campanile Prime - Paris Pantin — Hotel in Bobigny

⚠️Seriously UNACCEPTABLE treatment⚠️||I Booked 3 nights at this hotel for my best friends Birthday & to attend an event on Fri 6th||❗️Upon arrival (Thu 5/6/25) I provided my booking details to check-in & was informed we had no booking||❗️The Receptionist was extremely rude ||❗️He Refused to acknowledge the proof of my booking or that a partial payment had been taken from my account before arrival||❗️He lied repeatedly that I didn't book or that I had cancelled||❗️ I desperately tried to resolve the problem even asking if I could book another room||❗️Was told no as the hotel was fully booked yet rooms shown as available online||❗️His tone was very aggressive & we eventually had to leave||Turning us away for absolutely no reason was very distressing and dangerous! |It was just the two of us (both female)|It was our first time in Paris and first holiday together |We had no way to arrange transport|We were then forced to search for another hotel and fortunately we eventually found one|We then had no option but to walk to it which was difficult to navigate, it was also late at night making the situation very unsafe for us|This has never happened to me before and I still find it unbelievable that it did. |Not only putting us at risk but for this to happen on a Birthday trip was so disappointing and upsetting|This hotel advertises friendly and helpful staff - False advertising!||I am also still awaiting a response from the hotel and...

Pros: Conveniently located next to a Metro. Rooms were a great size, clean, and comfortable.

Cons:

Check-in & Customer Service: We arrived to the hotel at 1:10PM on our first day. We were told our rooms weren’t ready and to return at 2PM to check in. We completely understood this, so we went off and returned at 2:30PM. When we arrived to check-in, the receptionist told us that 1 of our 2 rooms was not ready. I was very surprised by this as it was now 30 minutes over check-in time. When I asked when the room would be ready, the receptionist told me she did not know. Stunned, I asked again as it was now past check-in time. She informed me that housekeeping was under pressure, and that she could not advise when the room would be ready. Irritated but understanding that there was nothing I could do, I asked how they would let us know that the 2nd room was ready. Astoundingly , I was told they did know how they could let me know as we did not have a phone in the room, so they did not know how many times I would have to come to reception to check when the 2nd room was ready.

I have never experienced anything like this. It was extremely disappointing and frustrating, and not anywhere near the standard of service one would expect after spending almost €700 on the rooms.

I stayed in this hotel during a one week vacation. For the price, it has excellent access to the metro and other public transportation methods. The rooms themselves are just okay, the classic "you get what you pay for". With that said, I was severely disappointed by the lack of profissionalism during my stay, because the rooms are not really well clean (some towels even have dry blood in them, for example). On the third day of my vacation there, the toilet just stopped working, and the handle of the shower didn't work. We talked to the receptionist during the morning, which gave us the sense that it would be taken care of during the day we were out. To our surprise, when we arrived, we had NO toilet, and while the shower handle was working a little better, we only had (very) hot water. We immediately asked for help regarding this issue, since we basically had no toilet, and the staff at the time said they couldn't do anything. Because of this, we had to use the shared bathroom and couldn't shower. Only in the morning they were able to change us the room. I give this place a rate of 2 stars because of the lack of consideration and care to make sure our room was working properly before we arrived, alongside the facts I described earlier. While the staff was nice, this was definitely disappointing and stressed us....
