I had an incredible stay at this hotel in Chamonix! The views from my room, the dining area, and even the jacuzzi were breathtaking, with the majestic Alps as a stunning backdrop. The room was cozy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, giving me one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a while.

Dinner at the hotel was a fantastic experience, with the food being both delicious and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet spread was also quite good, offering a wide range of options to start the day right.

The staff truly made the stay even more memorable. Mohamed at the front desk was extremely helpful, professional, and always greeted me with a smile. Took extra care to ensure we got the room we wanted. Also Lauren was extra helpful when we wanted to leave our baggage for the day, she also helped us to make sure we didn’t miss our bus no.2. Jocelyn, who handled my room, was very attentive, ensuring my bed was perfectly made and providing an extra duvet for added comfort.

I wasn’t there for skiing however they have all the facilities for skiing and trekking.

Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The combination of the beautiful views, comfortable room, excellent dining, and outstanding staff made this stay unforgettable!

Improvements suggestions- USB/USBC charging ports in the reception area Jacuzzi was merely warm. Could do with a little more heat. Food was delicious however a little explanation around what it is would be helpful, for instance I ordered Californian trout with rice. I didn’t know they were sushi rolls. They...

And for those travelling with family, Big Sky Hotel shines exceptionally. Its family-friendly environment, coupled with spacious rooms, ensures that stays with kids are not just comfortable, but truly enjoyable.

The attentive staff, the homely decor, and the serene location all contribute to an experience that's beyond the usual four-star standard. It’s a place that doesn’t just promise a stay, but an experience to cherish, especially for families seeking that perfect blend of comfort...

Really enjoyed my stay at The Big Sky Hotel & Spa in Chamonix! The interior design was warm and trendy—super inviting and stylish without trying too hard. It instantly made me feel at home.

The overall vibe was cozy and comfortable—perfect for solo travellers like me, but also great for families. Loved how relaxed everything felt.

Big bonus: The free shuttle was super convenient, and Mohd, the driver from Italy, deserves a gold star! Friendly, helpful, and just a genuinely kind person—he really made a difference in the experience.

That said, I do think the room cleanliness could use some improvement. I noticed quite a few tiny hairs on the bedsheets, which felt a bit unhygienic. Nothing major, but it’s something I hope gets better attention in the future.
