Four Issues:
Totally inadequate storage in the rooms. We had a room for 4 (as advertised). It was a real issue to find places to store all our ski clothes as 2 people were on the sofa bed and the main bedroom cupboard was filled with janitorial equipment. There was very little place to store food in cupboards in the kitchen.
We arrived late Saturday evening after a huge 12hour drive. They supplied only one toilet roll for everyone in the apartment and we had a huge battle to get more from reception, claiming we had to supply it. The shops weren't open until Monday!! We had to resort to taking/stealing paper from the ground floor toilets - totally unacceptable - we never expected to bring our own toilet supplies in a modern country to a place with "prestige" in the title! Even campsites offer free toilet roll!
For a room of 4 people they would only supply one door key! It was farcical. Even budget hotels will dispense as many keys as necessary. It was a real hassle. One example, my partner was staying in the hotel and went to the spa. The rest of us went out for the day. We got back earlier than expected but couldn't contact her as she had no phone reception and when she did finally get the message she had to walk from the pool dripping wet into reception to hand the key over to us. The management expect every time you leave the room, you must make your way to the reception to hand your key to them before you then go to any facilities or go out - a real chore. Especially when you're in a swimsuit.
Despite written assurances the sauna was free - its not!
Despite the above the place was acceptable. Not amazing but not terrible. The points above can be easily resolved should the management choose to fix the issues. Would I stay there again?...

We're Americans vacationing in Chamonix, France and this place was a fortune pick! Having now known anything about the area when I booked it, this was an excellent choice!
The rooms, or apartments is amazing! My son and I stayed here and there was plenty of room for both of us!
The apartment had everything you'll need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They have a little kitchen with provided pots, pans, utensils, and the such! They also had a dishwasher, Mini fridge, and microwave.
Just keep on mind that this isn't a hotel per say. You're responsible for cleaning up and emptying your trash. Not a big deal. You're also limited to the towels they give you when you arrive as well as toilet paper. They have us an extra one but they told us they'll charge us for more if we want another roll.
The staff is super helpful and friendly! They also speak English:)
The Location was just right for us! The hotel will give you a travel card which gives you access to the train for free and half off the bus. All the stations are very close to the hotel! It was an easy walk for us despite having a roll on luggage, two large day packs and 2 bookbags! It's just far enough away from town that it's quiet at night but close enough to let you do whatever you want.
The breakfast is really good! They have a poach egg machine and my personal favorite, a machine that freshly squeezes oranges for the juice!! Yummy!!
They also have laundry in the area! 6 Euros for the wash and 4 Euros for the...
Read moreIt's our last night tonight here. The place is very clean and flats well equipped. We enjoyed our stay. The bus stop is about 2 minutes walk. The place is not directly by the slopes but it is in the middle between la praz and argentier. You can order bread from reception which is great as fresh bread every morning is a good touch. There is a kettle and Nespresso machine for a coffee. Swimming pool is clean and very warm despite the fact is half in half out. Parking is great as is underground and locked at night. You will get a fob to gain access. The le tinse could do with a small shop as nothing around here. There is also a lack of restaurants nearby but if u can be bothered to drive chamonix has many on offer. We stayed in a bigger apartment. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which is great. Some of the tv channels can be changed to English speaking if the film is English which is a must for a young family.
Reception staff was really helpful and Sharon who checked us in was friendly and...
