Quite a large ski area, but very drab and has no character. There is a lot of walking or waiting around for buses which occasionally don't turn up.

The town is on various terraces, which are challenging to get between. With no central focal point, there is little atmosphere and the brutalist architecture doesn't help to add any charm.

The shops and restaurants are lacking and a long way from each other. Not really a place for apres.

The skiing is ok. Quite slushy towards the town and the various technical, narrow and winding runs make for a challenge for beginners and snowboarders. It's much better towards the summit, where the snow is good and the runs are wide above the treeline.

I wouldn't come back. I think there are much better places you can scratch your ski itch in France, such as the three...

I've visited about 3 times every season since 2010 but I've had enough now. The parking is incorrectly indicated on google and cost me 63 euro a day. The lift price is astronomical. They need to remember not all visitors are rich British tourists. If you go in February the queues for the 2 gondolas are very long and even the snow at the top is slush. If you are a good skier you can easily ski the whole resort in a day. The mountain restaurants are mainly self service with limited / no...

Big ski station with zero charm and tens of concrete buildings, plenty of pistes, but only one route for pedestrians :( Very expensive overall between the car parks and the ski passes. BEWARE ! When you are buying your ski passes, make sure you check that what you have asked for and what they charge you for are correct (we were overcharged 2 days running). A great view of Mont Blanc from the top of Grandes Platieres but I doubt we'll go there again (it was one of the only stations open in the region).

Lovely place, with modern efficient lift system to avoid bottlenecks etc. Not an alpine chalet style resort as this was built in the Brutalist Bauhaus style. So imposing concrete with more interior design to soften it. Hotel Le Totem is the best example of this in the resort (Great place to stay) Not a massive choice of pistes but perfectly good enough for most. Not a great resort for Apres with a couple of Pub/bars and a good selection of Family run restaurants.
