We met friends in Cahors and chose Brit Hotel as our hotel for one night. The rooms are very spartan, and, although they looked clean, the bathroom in our room emanated bad odors. ||Our room overlooked the hotel parking, the parking a reason we chose this property. Our window was shrouded from the outside by a folding metal screen which suffered from disrepair. Nothing good about that combination. ||Certainly the location of the BH is attractive, walking distance from the shopping / dining / church / market district. ||We did not frequent the bar or the hotel's breakfast. Read moreWe last stayed here in 02/16 and liked the hotel so much that when we had to return to Cahors we immediately rebooked. The hotel was comfortable before but we were delighted to find that our room had obviously been recently refitted and modernised. The breakfast was excellent, the room comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. One small criticism: although there is a desk space to work there was no plug to connect the computer. Read moreApart from the complete lack of flexibility with checking out it was excellent. The location is 3 min walk from train station. It is a close walk to centre of Cahors (10 min) and closer to the gorgeous bridge. No need for VERY expensive taxis. ||||We came from Deltours which was very bad for almost the same price. In fact we left early it was so bad so we happy that we had such a nice stay for 60E a night.||||Big beds, comfortable, bathroom was great, breakfast at 8.50E was worth it and full air con. ||||Great value for money.
