The idyllic location with breathtaking views of the cliffs, the idiosyncratic taste of the owner-collector, the excellent service by the whole staff, but Arnaud in particular, the charm of our room, la lavande, with memorable bathroom tiled in gorgeous Provence style, the cleanliness, the sweet smells of Provence, the peaceful constant chirping of birds deserve a 5 star rating. However, two small bemolles blemish a perfect rating. First, the WiFi is definitely subpar. The signal is spotty, kicking you offline at random times, and the system is incomprehensible, allowing only one device to be connected at the same time. Second, the continental breakfast is disappointing. Its basically cereals, a croissant and a yogurt with a regular coffee or tea. No espresso, subpar fruits with little choices - the fruit salad contains canned fruits! - no eggs, cheese or charcuterie. Definite dissonance with the quality of the rest of the service and location. I hope they fix these details and provide the 5 star rating...

Artisan hotel with the friendliest staff you could ask for. Nothing is too much trouble for them. |The rooms are original and decorated in an individual style that suits the surroundings. Everywhere you look there is something to capture your imagination. Breakfast is served in the garden and is perfect in every way. ||The hotel is located about 1 mile from Moustiers-Ste-Marie and after the walk up the hill you can enjoy a well earned pint, the good news is that it’s downhill on the way home. We spent a night at this quirky B&B while visiting Moustiers St Marie. While the decor was a little overwhelming with all the collections (candelabras, irons, tea makers... you name it) on every conceivable surface, our room was a pleasant surprise. Quiet, calm, clean with good light and great views from the french windows and the attached balcony, on which we sipped delicious local wine and watched the sun go down. ||Breakfast outside under the trees was a warm and delicious feast of french pastries, breads and local jams, farmer's yoghurts and eggs for those needing a little more protein.
