The idyllic location with breathtaking views of the cliffs, the idiosyncratic taste of the owner-collector, the excellent service by the whole staff, but Arnaud in particular, the charm of our room, la lavande, with memorable bathroom tiled in gorgeous Provence style, the cleanliness, the sweet smells of Provence, the peaceful constant chirping of birds deserve a 5 star rating. However, two small bemolles blemish a perfect rating. First, the WiFi is definitely subpar. The signal is spotty, kicking you offline at random times, and the system is incomprehensible, allowing only one device to be connected at the same time. Second, the continental breakfast is disappointing. Its basically cereals, a croissant and a yogurt with a regular coffee or tea. No espresso, subpar fruits with little choices - the fruit salad contains canned fruits! - no eggs, cheese or charcuterie. Definite dissonance with the quality of the rest of the service and location. I hope they fix these details and provide the 5 star rating...

While the decor was a little overwhelming with all the collections (candelabras, irons, tea makers... you name it) on every conceivable surface, our room was a pleasant surprise.
