Hotel 202 — Hotel in District of Dax

We have just spent 10 days at this lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Hossegor. We would like to say a big thank you to Jerome & ALL the staff for such a great stay. Hotel 202 is FAR better than it's 3* rating indicates. The decor is modern & a little bit quirky (in a good way .. who would expect to find a bumper car in reception). The bedrooms are not massive but they are very well appointed and peaceful. Start the day with a good breakfast which has a huge selection of fresh produce including some delicious cakes to finish. |Although the pool is quite small it is perfectly adequate for a cooling dip on a hot day. With the town close by there is loads to do... including the driving range at Hossegor Golf Club (just 100m away) & Les Halles market (even closer) which has some great food & drink available. |Above all what REALLY made it for us was the friendly & kind staff...nothing was too much trouble.|Thank you once again for a great holiday & we really hope to see you next...

We had reserved our room at the beginning of the year, we had tried to change the date because of a family problem and it had been refused to us, when we were ok to pay a supplement, but total refusal,||we had therefore honored the scheduled date forcing us to cross France in difficult traffic dates,||when we arrived after a long journey our room was not ready.||We had friends present for 2 days at the same time as us, they had a nicer room than us and they had had a price much lower than us when they had booked much later than us, it was a great disappointment and next year we will return to Biarritz as in 2021 to be welcomed with...
