Hôtel Les Fougères — Hotel in District of Dax

We've stayed at this hotel twice and will do so again when we go back to Hossegor! Very reasonable price. Simple but spotlessly clean rooms. Great shower! The kitchen area is very handy as is the balcony. Free wifi which always has good connection. The pool area was closed the second time we stayed (no doubt as this was in October) but was lovely on our first visit. Very big private parking area which is locked at night. ||The location is great, in between the main town and the central beach - walking distance to some lovely restaurants. ||It's the little things that make this hotel wonderful such as the friendly staff (who remembered us on our second trip) and the fact that your room gets tidied everyday (which you wouldn't expect for the price). ||Would recommend this place to anyone who is heading to Hossegor and doesn't want an over-the-top fancy...

Stayed for a couple of nights, joining with our son and his family who were holidaying there. The hotel was clean and fresh and fairly plain. However it offered very good value for money and I would have no hesitation in recommending it. The rooms were well presented and the staff very friendly and helpful. If you want to pay a lot more and go somewhere with room service and other facilities then this is not the place for you, but for a very pleasant stay it is very worthwhile.
