Wow what a place. Nestled in Hossegor a beautiful town we easily found the Hotel overlooking the river. Parking is available at 12€ a night (2025 prices) . You enter the car park by going round the block from the hotel, otherwise there is street parking (if you are lucky outside). We stayed two nights and really did not want to leave. We had an amazing welcome at Reception and this continued throughout our stay. |We had booked a triple room which was on the front face of the hotel and overlooked the swimming pool and river. The rooms are a good size with a kitchenette, equipped with everything you would need for a few days self catering. The balcony has a table and chairs to sit out and enjoy the warm weather and view. Beds were clean and comfy and the bathroom , compact but not the smallest we have had on our travels.|Swimming towels are provided as well if required. Maid service both days.|The whole place is very clean and has a welcoming and traditional family orientated feel. In the evenings you could smell cake cooking that then appeared at breakfast (delicious) and at 4.30am I smelt croissants cooking. Was I dreaming? No! other members of the family said the same. Amazing.|We booked breakfast for both days, then ate dinner in the town one night and bought in from the local supermarket the other night. All within walking distance.|Would we return? We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were amazing, multi-lingual, the breakfast was delicious with a homemade touch, the rooms were comfortable and clean and we loved the area.|We have travelled to many many places throughout France but first time in Hossegor. We loved the hotel so much we looked up its history. That was very interesting. We also loved the traditional shutters that once shut at night closed all the sounds and light out. We slept well.|We...
Read morethe several reviews about the haughty manager are all correct, I had been there for 4 days the place is so dirty, and dusty that during my stay it triggered a major alergic nasal response for me that I hadn't been experiencing at least for a decade, I couldn't sleep because of that constant sneezing, coughing, and the running nose the room was disgusting, and the smell coming out of the bed was like a smell of rotten meat the manager is very cocky in her attitude, she barely can take any criticism at all, so heavy narcissistic she's, she can be also very aggressive towards the guests overall the hotel feels like...
Read moreOf any hotel in the world, this is my favorite. Valerie is so great - she is always so friendly and loves letting the children playing with her puzzles and games in the lobby after breakfast. The included breakfast is awesome - fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh croissants, coffee, and eggs - and always well stocked. You can't beat the location - right next to the town and shops. We got bikes and my kids had a ball riding around on the paths to and from the beach and the park. This is our 2nd stay here...
