Pierre et Vacances Les Calanques des Issambres — Hotel in Draguignan

To be clear I gave it 3 stars mainly for the restaurant as we took half-board. We usually going to clubs due to the entertainment for our kids, but we didn't find one open so we choose this one because it had a restaurant and we could take half board. For two nights we payed more the half board than the appartment itself, as we have a 12 year kid which payed adult price. It turns out it was a mistake as the meal included was really limited as there were no choice and our two kids ate almost nothing on both the nights we stayed. The breakfast was ok, nothing fancy but at least some choices. The appartment was ok also with a nice view, not far from the residence there are some nice places with a view. Not our type of place as there is no entertainment around, but if you search just a place to stay it could be ok and the appartement was not expensive in the low season. Oh and you have to pay the parking (16€ for two...

We have stayed 12 days at the residency and had a fantastic time. The rooms are on smaller side but the living area and the balcony make up for it. The kitchen is very well equipped and you don’t need to use the dishwasher on regular basis. A small kit of cleaning equipment is provided to get you going. ||The pool is very nice and well maintained. No need to wake up early and hog sun beds. You are encouraged to take your towel when you leave the pool for extended periods of time to make way for others. ||Les Issambres is a wonderful big village with lots of restaurants and beautiful beaches. The closest beach is a 5 min walk from the hotel. ||St Tropez is 30 minutes away by boat and so are lots of wonderful locations in the area. ||The entire residence share two washing machines and you have to be on the lookout if you need to use one. They could do with more....

I'm very happy about our choice. We stayed in different P&V residences already and I can say it's one of my favorite now. Compact, green and lovely residence, nice pool with palm trees and shadow, very close to the sea with different types of beaches to suit every taste: long sandy beaches, rocky bays, small private ones good for snorkelling...|Our studio was very spacious with a nice terrace, partially with the shadow, partially under the sun, no noise, very clean and lovely decorated with everything you need for your comfort. Spacious bathroom.|Nice restaurant, very helpful and attentive staff.|Bus stop in front of the residence to go to St Raphael or to St-Maxime or St Tropez. Aqualand is in 20 min drive distance. Velo routes and walking paths along the shore.|Excellent and not expensive place for calm...
