Riva — Restaurant in Draguignan

If you would like a sea side meal the Riva will not disappoint. As with all restaurants in the area prices are a bit high but here the quality is top notch. The duck burger was a great hit. It is like a pulled pork sandwich in texture but with duck and a super sauce. Freash potato crisps as a side. The Tuna tataki was out of this world. The seared Tina is sliced and served over a bed of veggies and a side rice. They provide a sweet soysauce mix for dipping. Next the beef butchers selection, it was served with potatoe crisp and a black pepper corn sauce. The meat was a perfect med rare. Children enjoyed a spaghetti with meat sauce and fish and chips. It looks like the Var Coast has changed a lot. The majority of the restaurants worked on a simple or elaborated cuisine, but always sincere and concerned about the customer's wallet. We spent our last evening in Les Issambres in the Riva Restaurant. The Service is very nice, friendly and funny. They can speak English and are able to explain the dishes.
