Chalet La Cachette, Cyclists, Skiers & Chaise Longue — Hotel in Grenoble

This place was just lovely. My husband and I highly recommend it! The host and owner, Francois, runs this one-room only mini chalet with care and pride. We booked it last minute to escape the heat wave, and his son was waiting for us when we arrived to let us in and make sure everything was perfect and to help us make a dinner reservation. They had turned the air conditioning on an hour before we got there so the room was pre-cooled for us, and they had little treats waiting for us. The next morning, the breakfast in the garden was large and delicious. If you wanted to cook, the mini kitchen has everything you could need. First, this place was 1/2 the cost of other available places (short notice stay for what that's worth). But this place is awesome!! 1. It's a full on apartment; 1.5 baths, big living room, huge comfortable bed, full kitchen. Soooo much better than a tiny hotel room for more money. 2. The host is very nice and helpful. 3. Very kind and generous host, very comfortable place to stay, fully equipped room, delicious breakfast. You find everything you need and even more. Be sure all you see and touch is of a highest quality. Francois provides valuable advice and is always ready to help. The place is absolutely safe, quiet and peaceful, with the amazing mountain view. Supermarket and Saturday market with local farmer food is just in three minutes walk. Next time we are in Alps we definitely stay here. Feels like home. Thank...
