Very poor everything. Where do I start? Our 1st day after travelling 1000miles to the campsite over 3 days we arrived to find someone in our reserved pitch. Due to French law they couldn't forceably be removed. So we had to sleep rough until the following day when the staff told us they were leaving before 11am. Which they didn't until 5pm. Apparently they didn't have enough security on to remove the family from the pitch in question who hadn't made a reservation. Staff informed they had already been having problems with this family and knowing this they still directed us to the pitch when we arrived. The staff member was off home as it was closing time so told us to sleep rough for the night or go to a hotel. The manager came to our assistance the following day in the afternoon, they didn't offer us a refund for the 2 days of holiday missed only drinks and lunch in the bar until we could get on our pitch.. Wow so generous. The pitches are quite big with hedges around so a family with smaller family tents could possibly share pitches if a large pitch is requested at the time of booking. However they are all gravel pitches and this can cause problems for babies when wanting to crawl around or sunbathing beside your tent. Lots of ants nest so bring stuff with you if you decide to holiday here. As regards the entertainment it is truly appalling. No one can call the British Butlins etc because wow I've never heard such rubbish in all my life of camping. It is very very noisy in the evenings with shouting and singing way beyond midnight so no rest for babies or for older ones who don't want to join in on the appalling entertainment, shouting and raving. The restruarant is basic, the food is processed... The ladies behind the bar in the day are very nice and helpful. The swimming pool is very strict with rules. There is only 20 sunbeds and about six umbrellas. You aren't allowed to take in your own chairs, umbrellas or any floats. You have to wear the tight French style swim pants. In the UK we class swim shorts that have the netting sewn in but these weren't allowed. So we had to go out to buy the swim shorts so that we could go into the pool. There is no food or drink. You aren't allowed to sit or lay down where you want before they stress out at you. The guy overseeing the pool was too busy flirting with all the young girls but allowed his mates into the pool with board shorts or swim shorts on as well as other French people. One was given a complex about being English. The toilets and showers are mixed and look very nice however there is no toilet paper or soap. So all the pride about germs in the pool and all the rules but in place was hillarious when they don't even provide soap in the toilets. There are no seats on the toilets, so not good for ladies at all. I never saw them cleaned and to me they looked dirty but my family apparently saw them cleaned a few times. The shop on site sells hardly anything, a few bottles in the fridge and that's about it. There is a nearby Lidl but we went on a Sunday morning and it was chaos. While my daughter was waiting for a car to pull out of a space the car behind was peeping his horn then bumped her car literally to move her out the way. So we went to Carrefour the next time around which is about 10 min drive without traffic. They have loads of stores in and around so much better travelling than going local. The locals are just rude and ignorant. I have an autistic boy so due to the many rules of the pool couldn't go in. This is not a place for equality and diversity if you don't fit the norm or perhaps if your religion doesn't permit tight skimpy clothing or the need to cover up other parts of the body this site is definitely not for you. The weather is beautiful even when it's raining...

Read moreA Wonderful Campsite Experience What a lovely campsite! The staff were incredibly helpful, always greeting us with a friendly smile and eager to assist. Most of the pitches are shaded by a diverse collection of mature trees, which provided much-needed relief during the hot weather. Fresh water points are conveniently located throughout the site. The sanitary facilities are modern and well-designed, though it’s worth noting that there are no toilet seats, toilet paper, or soap provided. The chic on-site café, staffed by friendly and attentive people, was a delightful place to relax. The campsite is ideally situated near Lucate Port, just a five-minute walk from the sea and its sandy shoreline. Alternatively, guests can enjoy the on-site swimming pool. We found the location perfect for exploring the area and taking scenic cycle rides straight from the campsite. Overall, we had a calm and relaxing stay. We enjoyed it so much that we kept extending our time there until we absolutely had to leave. A big thank you to all the staff—your cheerful and helpful nature truly made a difference. We highly recommend this campsite. We will...
