Id give the hotel 3.5, its average which is spot on. But I suspect most posting good reviews speak French. While she speaks English fine, I think she despises those who dont speak French. Not an uncommon thing here in France, although the night before we stayed at Du Hotel du Pont Vieux in Caracassonne, a major tourist destiantion (unlike here!), and the owners could not have been morer welcoming making us feell VERY welcomed there. The owner here is obviously a very unhappy person and takes it out on non French speaking guests. She denied us parking despite me sending the request more than 2 months ago (there is a big lot), but made the fatl mistake of writing in Anglais. Not a huge issue as you can find parking here. ||But what was intolerable was the fact that because we had two reservations, for 1 night each, she made us check out at 10 am and back in at 2pm and would not let us store our luggage for the 4 hour interval. So we carried it all down the stairs, loaded into the car parked a block away, then repeated the ordeal when we returned (this time in briutally hot weather!) . And not only did she refuse the request to leave our luggage, a first for me in 1000+ hotel stays, she literaly screamed at me "NON! Its...
Read moreThe Rev'Hotel is not a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination. The room was small and furnished sparingly. The bathroom was big enough to turn around in. The shower, not so much. Still, we had a great time here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just right--fresh croissants, yogurt, coffee, cheese, fruit juice. Best of all the beach is a short walk away. It is a wide and beautiful beach and a great little port town to walk around in. In reference to an earlier review stating that the wifi was problem-free, that was not our experience. We needed to bring our devices to reception in order to login and were dropped off at the drop of a hat. No complaining though. Vacations are not supposed to be...
