Hôtel Kyriad Nevers Centre — Hotel in Nevers

We visited the Hotel Kyriad the night before our annual fishing trip. So our criteria for accommodation was for it to be under €100 per night, have a secure car park, and for it to be near to a few bars so we could have a bit of a drink.

The Hotel Kyriad fit the bill and 6 rooms were booked. We arrived at 7pm and after negotiating Paris we were in need of some well needed R&R.

The hotel was easy to find, and the secure car park was just around the corner. Entry is controlled by keypad.

On check in the helpful receptionist took her time to show us on a map, where we could go for drink and a bite to eat.

The rooms are good size and we'll equipped for the budget, and the bathrooms adequate for their purpose. See attached photo for picture of my room.

On the 3rd floor you also get good views of the city.

The night life area of the town was within easy walking distance of the hotel, although be prepared to used a satnav on foot as the winding streets of Nevers can become a bit of a mystery after a few of the local beers.

Stayed for one night after driving from the Costa Brava en route to England. Great greeting when we arrived. Even offered an English menu so we could review I. Our room before visiting the restaurant. The restaurant was pretty and tastefully decorated. Attentive staff who were charming and efficient. The start and desert buffet was a wonderful temptation as you enter the restaurant. The food was divine and I would highly recommend. The deserts were worth the wait! Free car parking in a secure location just 50metres from the hotel. Big rooms with modern decor. Very comfortable beds. No iron or ironing board. we had a good stay at the Kyriad hotel in Nevers. We were kindly received by the receptionist. The room was clean and modern but the beds were a bit like cups, the matresses were clearly used for a long(er) period, i stayed in room 103, this room is above the entrance which, besides the fact that the building is already very noisy, the entrance with people talking and smoking did not help. So ask for another room if you get 103.. The breakfast was good and tastefull but the breakfastlady was quite grumpy, maybe because i didnt know my room number in French..
