First night at the Bernardette Soubiours Monastery in Nevers and my last stop on my 2019 New Year journey. It's such a complex topic that I do not know where to start. All the bore because it is so important to us all. Bernadette - the opposite of Leonardo, the opposite of revolution. Immature in its little. What happened to her? What did the church do to her? What did science do to her? What made her stand? Why did not she be saved by her own vision? (See comments under pictures) Whenever you say par example scientists has hurt her, your inner compass of truth will turn your to counterpart. Just as you say in her presence that the church has helped her. Our inner compass works to fill the medieval scholastic paradigm: the truth is only true when the opposite is true. From my perspective, we misinterpret the victim. We have the feeling that we are “sacrificing to/for people.” But we sacrifice to a miracle. I belong to the healed of the Lourdes. I know the call of the miracle is strong, powerful, and merciless. It is the gateway to death and life at the same time. So what I feel is that most of the "saints" - awaken, came up with something that was out of the ordinary human reality. Restrictions that we curse, but in fact we love it. They form our borders, our sense of "security." And Bernardette represents the confrontation with our own borders. She is a dispute with our malice, our limits, our voluntary slavery. Bernadette was humiliated like Joan of Arc: the prefects questioned her, she were investigated by psychiatrists, tested by scientists, doctors. Her experience offended neighbors, she was betrayed by so-called friends, was ridiculed in the media. Even in "eternity" this dispute of miracles arises. Even after her death, "the scientists and the church" took her two ribs from the dead body and a piece of liver - as sacraments, like remains, as a relics ... But what could they explore about what is? Why? How can we separate to the petri dish life alone? How can we capture the miracle happening in timelessness? Which does not lead back? I'll stay here in the Bernadette Monastery for two days. I will complate: Why does her body not decompose? Where is the science that rejuvenates? Where are the hidden technologies and inventions, those “20 and back concepts?” One girl, measuring 142 centimeters, suffering from childhood all poverty-related diseases, asthma, tuberculosis, cancers - so her body is directly condemned to decomposition. And here she lies "full of life". She waits until she gets up. Why is she waiting? What does she want to say? Is she waiting to show us all the wrongs? Or did she hand over all the blessings? I'm afraid the answer lies in us. In our own "immortality." And its waits for awakening ...

Being able to stay in a place where it was once a convent and the motherhouse of the Sisters of Charity of Nevers is truly a very blessed experience. The place is very solemn. It’s off peak season and there’s no crowd (Jan) You have the whole place to yourself with more quiet time for meditation on the life of Saint Bernadette who spent 13 years here. You have full time access to the chapel to spend time with Saint Bernadette even after it’s closed to the public. The room is simple and clean. Garden ground is huge to discover in your own time. You can stay here with full board meals. Carpark space on the ground is great. I’ll definitely stay here again if I come back to Nevers in future. - best to book the rooms with Espace Bernadette, write them an email!

My review here is re : my visit to the Holy Chapel where the incorruptible body of St Bernadette Soubirous lies. The entire place is reasonably big although the Chapel itself is not huge. A souvenir shop can be found here. A very small museum exhibits things associated with St Bernadette. The chapel is opened at specific timings as per the attached picture. The little cafe here has a vending machine for coffee. I did not try it. The campus also has a grotto.

What an incredible experience. I had the pleasure to stay at this convent and I cannot even imagine where to start with my story||- Room: Pretty basic, but it is a convent. I did not expect anything else, or to be more precise, if the room had not been like it was, I would have been disappointed.||- Reception: Very nice, very efficient, very friendly||- Food: Had no chance to get the pilgrims menu since I did not inform these guys in advance. Breakfast was good (and the only breakfast on my holiday where they served Nutella)||- The convent itself: Surrounded by an incredible beautiful garden. Spent the sunset sitting there, having a nice wine and feeling myself slowing down. Everything is very quiet and silent||- Bernadette: This is an incredible experience. I cannot say if I really believe in what they say about Bernadette, but I can say I really believe in the people I met there. There was no one unmoved by this experience. When you stay at the hotel you can also visit the grave of Bernadette at a later hour, when you are all on your own, and soak in this athmosphere. Incredible.||If you want to stay at a hotel with a great TV set, evening entertainment and a well-stocked mini-bar, go somewhere else. I you want to experience spiritualism at its best and get in contact with yourself and have a chance to slow...
