Hôtel Prince Albert Wagram — Hotel in Paris

Cheaper, but extremely small and cramped.

What it DOES NOT HAVE: utensils refrigerator safety deposit box (broken) smart tv (no Netflix, only French cable) good wifi connection, lost connection many times and it was slow a private bathroom, basically the bathroom is separate from the shower and bathroom and the door is only a thin glass sliding door. You will not have privacy as a couple staying here, you can see and hear everything in the bathroom conditioner; however there is body face and shampoo ( 3 in 1 ) gel in the shower quiet (walls very thin so you will not sleep)

Otherwise it has all the other amenities. Hair dryer is annoying and you have to hold down the power button. My partner and I could not sleep here every night. The neighbors were very loud and you can hear every flush and chatter. They also smoked even though this is a non smoking hotel. We couldn’t breathe. We opened the windows at night and big mosquitoes flew in.. in December!! 🦟 be careful!

Something is missing. I don’t know if it was the cold weather, the small rooms, the mediocre room cleaning, the lack of a vending machine (at least) or the fact that I needed ice and they didn’t have it. I don’t know. This hotel is just a cocoon, a façade: it seems nice, it seems clean, it seems affordable, it seems comfy and in some ways, it is... but it doesn’t feel like all that at all. I must say the people at the front desk were nice and polite, very professional. It’s not them, it’s the system, the hotel’s policy, the environment in which this hotel’s been immersed. Something is missing in this hotel. It could be better the thing is that I don’t know if they want to be better. Maybe the staff is just tired, maybe they don’t get payed enough, maybe nobody at the hotel cares about the reviews, anyways, it lacks the warm welcoming and hospitality you would expect for a little hotel in the middle of Paris in which there are plenty of hotels available and competition...

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, and, to sum up, it was the best choice for these days! Very kind staff, good location (metro and bus stop are close, many restaurants at this area, supermarket 5 min of walk from hotel), clean room (they clean it every day, and change towels also). In the room were everything necessary: towels, gel and shampoo, hairdryer, lockbox, and the teapot. Also, we didn’t expect that breakfast will be included, so, we were surprised to know that. They offer kind of French buffet, and we were glad with it. From minuses I can mention the glass door between room and bathroom, so, there is no sound and light barrier. There is no curtain and blind in the bathroom, and in the night you can see the street light which interrupts a little. And walls are thin, someone’s alarm can wake up.
