Chambre d'hôtes TY ELEANA — Hotel in Quimper

With Renee you don't feel as though you are just another guest passing through. She loves having people to stay and it shows. We stayed for a week and felt as at ease and as comfortable as "chez soi". We had the upstairs room and a private well equipped bathroom. Renee does not let any other rooms on this floor, so you have the first floor to yourself. The bed was very comfortable and there is absolutely no noise from the town at night, despite being very close to shops and restaurants and La Ville Close. Ty Eleanu is built in traditional Breton style. Rooms are in the traditional part and Renee occupies the modern wing. The secluded garden was lovely on a very hot afternoon. Very good breakfasts. Renee was even kind enough to invite us to have aperitifs one evening with a group of her friends, a chance to sample seaweed canapes which were delicious. Excellent B and B, situated in the center close to all amenities. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean. The beds are very comfortable and there’s a kettle for tea and coffee. Breakfast is served downstairs and we enjoyed Renee’s Crepes with caramel as well as her homemade yoghurts. I reckon this is the best address in Concarneau. We hope to be back one day! Renee made us feel really welcome. Delicious breakfast, especially the crepes with caramel au beurre sale. We had the downstairs room opening up to the garden which was really nice. Although this room is not en suite, the bathroom is only next door and was not a problem. Would definitely stay there again...
