It is the cheapest location for an overnight staying in a long range. room is big with high ceiling, internet, TV there is a shared kitchen with stoves, fridge, cutlery and dishes free to use it is fairly quite the owner was responsive and friendly

Cons it is indeed not very clean, the room overall was with new bedding and cleaned, but missed a deep cleaning of ceilings and other areas it is a dated building, someone can find this fascinating and vintage, although overall it is just dates and needs a renovation, like many reviews say. there is not quite anything walking distance, a vehicle is well needed to move around the shared kitchen is in poor condition, it's enough to cook, but don't expect much more the windows are huge, if you have kids, you must keep this closed as it is a safety risk. to check in we had to go around the building and discover that the owner love at the ground floor in the back. The front door was closed with no sign on what to do, so if you stay here, just walk to the back and knock at her apartment.

Overall, we didnt mind our stay as we did for 1 night o ly on the way back and to Calais. We would not recommend to stay here unless is an overnight stay on the way. The building itself is very nice from the outside, but on the inside it's old moldy and very dirty overall ... This could be a very nice establishment if they would spend some money on the building but we had the feeling they have been neglecting it for many years now ... Kitchen and the oven were beyond filthy, showers were nasty and old some black mold in the rooms. Silicone seams all had black mold, One of our friends has asthma and was afraid to sleep here because of the state of the rooms. and yes i know i am not paying for a 5 star hotel but the least we expected was a clean shower and a mold free room... i advice the owner who was very friendly towards us when we arrive to invest some money in redoing the rooms... This way he can get rid of all the negative comments and have an amazing establishment, because it is a beautiful building it just needs some work and...

A fuir absolument ! Cet endroit est insalubre! Invités à un événement familial, nous souhaitons partager notre expérience afin qu’il n’y est plus d’autres personnes ayant à subir l’état des locaux mis à disposition par cet escroc.

A notre arrivée sur place, absence du propriétaire, nous déduisons par nous-même la chambre que nous avons loués (70€ !!!) car c’était la seule avec 4 lits. A l’ouverture de celle-ci on a compris tout de suite pourquoi l’escroc n’était pas resté sur place. On a eu le sentiment de se faire raquetter et de ne rien pouvoir faire.

1/ Dans les chambres, les papiers peints très humides se décollent, les odeurs de tabac froid et les cendres sont omniprésentes, les champignons et la moisissure occupent l’ensemble des pièces, les parquets en piteux état sont noirs de crasse, absence de verrous pour verrouiller la chambre de l’extérieur,…

2/ Dans les salles d’eau & sanitaires, il n’y a ni papiers WC, ni savon, les cuvettes de toilettes sont cassées, tous les joints sont noirs, les poils multipropriétaires jonchent les sols,…

3/ La salle est à l’image des chambres, la crasse est toujours présente, l’état du mobilier laisse à désirer. Constat étonnant quand on a vu les photos du site internet (??)

4/ La cuisine mise à disposition, a dû être entièrement être récurée à notre arrivée car son état ne permettait pas d’y effectuer le travail des aliments sans craindre un problème sanitaire ; Cela n’aura pas été suffisant, on compte 3 malades dans les invités ! Pour finir, l’électroménager étant hors d’état de fonctionnement.

5/ En terme de réglementation, nous avons constaté des non-conformités. Extincteurs en nombre insuffisants, non fixés, non vérifiés par un organisme Absence de système d’alarme Absence de consignes et plans d’évacuations dans les locaux assujettis à ses dispositions Absence d’éclairage de sécurité + éclaire Sens d’ouverture des portes de l'entrée, débarras à potentiel calorifique élevé dans la cage d’escalier en bois, absence de ferme-porte sur les portes de chambres etc..

Il est clair que pour ce dernier point, un dossier va être envoyé à la préfecture, copie mairie, elle-même responsable du contrôle de ces...
